My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think of myself as a fundamentally good guy. I've never tried to hurt anyone on purpose, I try to give everyone a chance. I can get along with pretty much anyone. I was raised with a very strong belief in charity and compassion. I give as much as I possibly can, even if it is just a random compliment to a stranger. Anything to put a smile on someone's face.

I tend to gravitate towards the liberal, the counter-culture, the freakish, the outsider. Let's put it this way, I've never had an enduring friendship with a conservative, but I wouldn't rule it out.

I have an unhealthy obsession with literature especially the works of Virginia Woolf. I like British Comedy yet still find myself laughing at some pretty sophomoric things.

I try to give myself fully to whatever inspires me, be it art, literature, music, film, etc.

Most attractive feature in a man: passion.
Least attractive feature in a man: arrogance.

Oh, and I love chick rock.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Women's Studies from the University of Houston and had been teaching Freshman Comp at the University of Nebraska-Omaha until recently. I am now back in Houston redirecting my career towards teaching mentally and physically disabled children.

Also, as of May of 2013, I woke up one day and decided to change my life for the better. Having always struggled with weight problems and doing every diet on the planet since childhood, I made a promise to myself that I would be smart and do it the right way. It's a baby step process, but it is working. Exercise every day, even if it's just walking for 30 minutes, healthy food choices and portion sizes, less booze, and I finally (hopefully) kicked the nicotine habit. I'm getting healthier by the day, and I feel great. Who knew?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Trivia. Remembering things that no one else can remember. Patience.
The first things people usually notice about me

Oh god. Could be a myriad of things. The fact that I usually wear some ridiculous accessory, like a hat or glasses that I don't actually need. Possibly my height and/or size. Hopefully my smile.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Car (I live in a metro area, come on now...)

2. Poetry (My life would be empty without it)

3. Friends (What would I do with my time?)

4. A stiff drink (I'm not an alky, I promise...)

5. A place to purchase aforementioned stiff drink

6. Allergy medication (Snot is NOT sexy!)

I can pretty much recite the script for "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" word for word.
