I'm one of those artist types. There seem to be a lot of us around these days. I'm all those buzzwords like passionate and outgoing but I like my quiet evenings and my time spent in silence as much as I like being out on the town.

Living it as best as I can. Writing, learning to make music, reading books, watching movies, etc.

Procrastinating. Losing bookmarks. Running two blocks so I can get to work just on time.

I really have no clue. I'd like to know that myself, to be honest.

Writers: Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dostoyevsky, Nietzsche, Haruki Murakami, Mary Oliver, Goethe, Lord Byron.

Books: Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises (so much love), the Poetic Edda, Paradise Lost, Norwegian Wood

Films: My three favorite films are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost in Translation, and American Beauty. Some others are Eyes Wide Shut, Drive, Harakiri, Throne of Blood (or pretty much any samurai movie by Kurosawa), Tarkovsky's Stalker, and Blade Runner. There's a load of movies I love. And a load of movies I want to see.

Music: My music taste is rather varied. My two favorite bands would probably be Rome and Dead Can Dance. Some genres I like are Neofolk (Of the Wand & the Moon, Death in June, Current 93), regular Folk (Marissa Nadler, Nick Drake, Mariee Sioux), (Dark) Ambient (Stars of the Lid, Tor Lundvall, Lustmord), Post-Punk/Early Darkwave/Goth Rock (Pink Turns Blue, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry) I guess Swans could fit there too...sorta. Tons of others and everything in between. Considering how I look I doubt its surprising that I like metal, and I tend towards Doom Metal (Lord Vicar, Reverend Bizarre, Pentagram, Electric Wizard, Pagan Altar) and Black Metal (Urfaust, Paysage d'Hiver, Drudkh, Ildjarn, Darkthrone) more than anything, but I like a little Death Metal (Nihilist, Entombed, Grave, Bolt Thrower, Hooded Menace, Necros Christos) as well. Love the 80's as far as music goes. Then again I love the 70's and late 60's too. Tons of music all the time.
