Hi!
I am passionate about the art of conversation. I really enjoy learning about people, and seeing what interests them. I do not play mind games with people. I'm told that I'm kind hearted and altruistic, which I suppose coincides with saving lives for a living.
I'm a bit of an environmentalist, but I don't lecture people on their ways, I don't preech, but I'm happy to give information if it's desired. I own a couple of rental properties, and from what I see, I operate one of the only Green Rental Housing Operations in the province *small pat on back*. I also teach about sustainable agriculture at the local college.
Not sure what I'm really "looking for" on a site like this. Friendship is great, and if it leads to something better, then far beit from me to stop it.

What I’m doing with my life
I work in Emergency Medicine, but I
also own rental properties, and have a small photography studio. I teach and
volunteer at a local sustainable community garden initiative, and goto every
drum circle I
can find. I'm also a Practitioner of Reiki, though I do this more for the
enjoyment then as a career. I'm involved fairly heavily in running
a wilderness school in the Algonquin area, and when I have two
seconds to spare, I'm out enjoying the great outdoors.

Books: Wheel of Time Series, Hitchhikers Guide, Tabers, Anything by
Christopher Moore or Henry David Thoreau (I think they would have
gotten along nicely).
Movies: Dead Poets Society, Baraka, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko.
Music: My tastes are far too eclectic to narrow down. One day it will be Bela Fleck, Peter Gabriel the next, and some deep beat techno the following day.
Food:
1) "Thaid" between Sushi and Thai Food
2) A properly cooked steak. By a chef who knows what they're doing.
3) Fresh Seafood

intercourse (I work around 20 Friday nights a year).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've built up some walls over my years, to keep my heart from being
hurt. Breaking through them can be challenging... but the best
things in life usually are.
