Hi my name is Dan. I am fairly liberal. I am definitely a night person. I like puppies. I can dance, but not as well as I would like. I'm pretty and nice and I like to eat rice. I can whistle really loud. I am sarcastic. I’m right handed. I feel like I look silly when I run. I don’t like being punched in the face. I think age is just a number but, that being said, old creepy guys go away. And stay there. I have a dry wit. I'm funny, although I don't often laugh at my own jokes. I'm all but impossible to embarrass. I floss, which is apparently something to be proud of. I like to start sentences with the letter 'I'. I like to play badminton for fun. Tennis is fun too but I am awful at it. I met my best friend on this site (and she is awesome) so it is possible to meet people on here. I place little faith in the 'match' percentage on this site. Read a profile. Talk to a person. That is how you find out if you and someone are a match. Particularly the talking part. I walk between 6 1/2 and 7 miles a day when I am at my current job. When I begin student teaching in the fall I will be walking much, much less and will probably end up joining a gym...maybe. Suggestions are welcome.

I am currently student teaching at an elementary school in Maple Grove. I will be doing this for fifteen weeks (ending December 4th). That aside I don't have much else major going on.

A~ Mostly non-fiction stuff most people find horribly boring, but I was a history major so it's a given that I like reading 1000+ page books on the origins of federalism, warfare or scented bath soaps. "Lies my Teacher Told Me," "Guns, Germs and Steel," and "1984."
B~ Silence of the Lambs, Children of Men, Pans Labyrinth, Crash, SiCKO. Star Trek (2009), Unbreakable. C~ Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Queen, Ludwig von Beethoven, Bach, Giuseppe Verdi, Journey, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Seether, KC and the Sunshine Band....etc
D~ Pizza, Pasta, Cheese Cake, Vietnamese (KinhDo in uptown!), Chinese, special-k bars, Ice cream and toast. How can you not like toast?
E~ I'm adding TV since I would think most people spend more time watching TV during the week then they spend in a movie theater watching a movie. I like to watch Family Guy, The Old House, Antiques Roadshow, BBC World News (Or really anything that isn't Fox News), NOVA, Criminal Minds, House.

Target (or at least something that isn't Wal-Mart), My immediate family (every one says this is lame but true, so if everyone puts it how is it lame?), my car (it gets me places, sometimes even the place I was trying to get to), my computer (probably lame but I didn't access this site through the washing machine), a book (it's what fills the time between waking up and going to sleep), and Ice Cream (because it has the sugar to get me going enough to use the 5 other things on this list).

Why people are on this site and what people think when they read my profile. Ok, I wouldn't say I spend a lot of time thinking about this, really only when I'm on here.

Asleep. People still do sleep at night right? Sometimes out with people from work making them laugh or something. I'm a big clown ha-ha-ha....laughing time over.

I can touch my nose with my tongue....if you would even consider that private. If you want to know something ask. I love questions. I am moderately affectionate to answers.
