My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
** I am currently in an exclusive relationship, so new friends are awesome, but not looking for anything else. Also people watching is fun**

I've been an incredibly lucky person. Through no fault of my own, I've got a steady job, amazing friends from many walks of life, and have generally avoided real hardship.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Work, running, internets, and just enough guitar to keep calluses without really improving.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making up new utterly mundane hobbies or interests and seeing how long someone will politely let me gush about artisanal pogs or whatever.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably that we'll either click very well, or you'll completely miss my sense of humor and think I'm just an asshole or weirdo.
Also I am an asshole or weirdo. If we're being boring, I guess some combination of tall, skinny, and effete.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
It's hard to narrow this down, but I've noticed a big theme I like in TV Shows and movies is ambiguity, like the way half of a David Lynch film or Grant Morrison story is open to interpretation.

My favorite authors are probably Gregory Maguire, Joseph Campbell, and Carl Sagan. David Sedaris doesn't make the list since reading David Sedaris is never as good as listening to David Sedaris read David Sedaris.

In terms of music, I love being introduced to new artists and acts, and have pretty broad taste. Some favorites on my ipod at the moment are; Dragonette, David Byrne, Muse, Ben Folds, Spoon, and Cake.

Foodwise, since I was 13 or so I've been mostly vegetarian but I eat dairy, eggs, and fish. I'd rather not go to a steakhouse, but won't judge you for eating meat. Indian cuisine is probably my favorite, but as long as there's something on the menu for me I'll eat anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The word "anyway"
Left-handed items
The Weak Force
Smug Self-Righteousness
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I used to think I was good at telling stories, but I'm terrible at it now. Have I grown more self aware or am I actively losing skills? The prospect of both frightens me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
ghost-riding the whip
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was 5 I wanted to be a ghostbuster when I grew up, but was willing to settle for being a lawyer.
Sadly I never achieved that first dream, but dodged the second bullet so I guess things balanced out.
