My self-summary
I'm a sensitive, bright, funny, giggly child in an adult's body. I'm highly creative and scientific - an interesting combo at best. I am happy when I'm playing the piano, dancing, Zumba-ing or researching brain chemistry and human nutrition. I love my work and avocations which intersect. I care deeply about children.
What I’m doing with my life
Everything I can possibly fit into a day. This includes producing a children's picture book/audio narration on nutrition (Humdrum Hannah), helping families eat better which benefits children-to-be, and children who have neurodevelopmental challenges.

I am a preconception, pediatric and grown-up's nutritionist. I am also a certified nutritional educator. My children's book nutrition project is my consummate labor of love. I've written books on child development and nutrition for educators and health professionals but speaking to the children through the storyline of Humdrum Hannah and educating using (I confess), potty humor is a lot more fun. The project is ready for a laugh/love affair with a literary agent, the proper publisher, and of course, the children who need it most!

I'm learning to be a better me. How am I doing this? By making every moment count and giving it my all. I am enjoying writing this essay - and I'm not going to edit it - well, ... should there really be a comma after well? Any typoes?
I’m really good at
Listening, looking into your eyes, asking questions, caring, writing, following my passion, co-creating nutritional roadmaps, dancing, singing, manicures, eating popcorn, laughing, playing ping pong, shopping, finding really unique and beautiful furniture and clothing, decorating, cleaning, being a good friend, eating more popcorn, ....and chewing each bite 25 times..
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love Sara Gruen's books; Ape House and Water for Elephants, Robert-Louis Stevenson and Emerson's essays. I'm reading Cutting For Stone by Abraham Verghese. Finished that. Now I'm reading SHANTARAM by Gregory David Roberts.

I LOVE to read the New York Times and watch 60 minutes.

Movies: The Heat, The Campaign, Johnson Family Vacation, Amazing Grace, Blindside, Edward Scissorhands, As Good as it Gets, Boys Don't Cry, The Artist, Horrible Bosses, The King's Speech, Intouchables, Descendants, A Bronx Tale, Shine, Candelabra (HBO) - just to name a few movies. West Side Story is my all time favorite musical. I was spoonfed by the Motown sound and love old school music. I also like any kind of music that scaffolds the artist's soul into sound.

I eat organic food and follow the dirty dozen list (Environmental Working Group) staying away from conventionally grown items that are sprayed with pesticides 15 times from seed to table ( apples, strawberries, bluberries, greens, etc.). I only eat animals that are grass-fed. I cannot handle the abuse and animal cruelty permitted in factory farming. Grass-fed animals are happier too - I like happy - it's better for me.
The six things I could never do without
Creativity, exercise (dancing), friends, Twitter, my love affair w/my work, prayer/faith in all things with a special army of ^^A^^s guiding me - so one day I'll meet my greatest sweetheart.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Meeting the love of my life - a true marriage of hearts.

Getting to know someone from the inside out and having it be okay. I know you're out there - saving the best for last.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out dancing... Or hanging out with friends, movies, dinner, or celebrating my life (on the couch), relaxing and appreciating the journey.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a bit shy. I cry during award shows and while watching The Bachelorette.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 48–65
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating
You should message me if
You are truly emotionally available, honest, and can listen deeply. I don't care how you got there. Hopefully, you have done some soul-searching with the objectivity of others. If you can dance and like R&B that would be great but no worries - I can be a great leader and teacher. If you want to share your activities and passions with me - I'm willing to learn.

You and I are "Easy like Sunday mornin"...
