3/13 Edit. I reread my profile and fell asleep, so I'm going to be updating and adding more of my personal flavor in the coming weeks. Hopefully, I'll send a few more messages as well. That was my first profile attempt and could be somewhat outdated anyway. So, there you have it.

I'm friendly and easy going. I moved to Austin for school and still enjoy it. I love finding those purely Austin spots which are instantly recognizable. I'm not really comfortable writing "I" so often. I've always been open to new experiences, but began striving to that to a new level last year. Part of that is giving this site a shot. I maintain contact with several different groups of friends, but would like to branch out even more. I used to be skeptical of meeting online, but this does seem better than randomly picking someone who may just wish to be left alone at the moment. There's so much that won't fit in these boxes, so let's chat and see what we like.

I'm loving my life and spending as much time as I can with family and friends. My job remains interesting and challenging. I research and develop products made from composite materials. When at home, I'm usually repairing/improving my house or relaxing. I'm also (finally!) working out consistently. As in, enjoying it for the first time in my life. That's been nice. I have a great time trying out as many as possible of the outdoor spots, restaurants, bars, and trailers that this city offers.

I'm great about keeping in touch with old friends and bringing various people together for good times. Here's a list of some other things: traveling, cooking and seasoning food well, speaking German, playing piano, staying up late, smoking brisket, puzzles, hip-hop lyrics, removing stickers, being considerate, spelling, and solid modeling.

Physically? I have no idea.
Personality-wise? I'm outgoing. Also optimistic/positive, but with a dark sense of humor.

Food: I like all types, but especially into Thai, Indian, and sushi lately. Tex-mex, trailer food, or grilling out works anytime. Ribeye, chicken & dumplings, lasagna, chicken pot pie, vanilla ice cream w/caramel sauce, and creme brulee are other favorites.
