I don't want to make this sound like a self-penned paean of plaudits and hopefully it won't come across as one. I am a New Yorker through and through; confident (both in my looks & intellect), sarcastic, and self-deprecating. I am responsible, but laid back and am always up for an adventure. I am quiet, absent minded, and silly.

I'm comfortable in my own skin and would love to meet/find someone similar.

I am in academia. I work full time at a large urban university, and am working on my graduate degree at the same time.
