I am outgoing, witty, and sweet.

My Self-Summary

Things I love (in no particular order): the ocean (being near it makes me really happy), wine, cheese, being healthy, riding my bike, swimming, running, pushing myself beyond what I thought were my limits and feeling like a rock star afterwards, pets, children, finding random cash I forgot about in my pocket, sarcasm, laughing really hard, rocking out to my ipod in the car, afternoon naps, feeling like I am somehow performing Tikkun Olam in some way (bonus points if you can tell me what Tikkun Olam is), a great book I can’t put down, a film that makes me laugh and/or cry, cuddling, that feeling I get after a really nice first kiss with someone I like. The list could keep going, but this is a start, I guess. Overall, I try to focus on enjoying my life as it unfolds before me, and making decisions to do things that make my life truly worth living at any given moment. Not an easy thing to always be aware of, but I try. Oh, and one more thing about me –I pretty much always tell it like it is. If you don’t want to hear it, don’t ask. But even if you don’t ask, I’ll probably tell you anyway.

As far as what I am looking for, ideally something real. Something natural, passionate, and perpetually smile-inducing. No laundry list. It’s pretty simple - make me laugh and I will do the same for you (dry humor and sharp wit work well with me). We treat one another the way we deserve to be treated. We share long-term goals and general way-of-life preferences, but our differences complement one another and help us grow. If we meet and the connection is right, then we try to be as open as possible to something great happening between us. Don’t hold back, laugh, smile, and enjoy…

What I’m doing with my life

I work for myself as an independent contractor sales rep for a couple of well-known apparel/footwear lines in the outdoor industry. I love my job (almost all the time) and I feel like it's a very well-suited career for me.

I’m really good at

making people smile and laugh. Making myself smile/laugh. Making the person I am with feel comfortable. Holding and/or carrying a conversation. Telling it like it is, without any candy-coating. Making someone that I love, feel loved.

The first things people usually notice about me

my voice and the way I use my hands to express myself while I speak. At least that's what people have told me. Also my boobs, if I am wearing a low-cut top.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Fountainhead, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day

Film - When Harry Met Sally, anything John Hughes, Swingers, Amores Perros, Annie Hall, GoodFellas, Casino, Slumdog, and many, many more...

Music -hip-hop, rap, soul, funk, motown, pop, rock, house, and even a tiny bit of country here and there (but not much)

Food - I love food. Some favorites are: sushi, thai, mexican, and middle-eastern. Like I said though, I'm a total foodie.

The six things I could never do without

my family
my friends
my cell phone
laughter
great food
great kissing

I spend a lot of time thinking about

On a typical Friday night I am

depending on my mood and the week, here are some options for a typical Friday night in my life: dinner/drinks with my friends, throwing a dinner party with friends, food, and wine, out to a movie, working out and then staying in for the night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am not that private, so if you want to know something, just ask me.

You should message me if

you think we might get along.
