I am Superdooper, Quirkey, and Rainbow Brite.

My Self-Summary

I am pretty fantabulous and you cannot appreciate me fully by reading this! (brief attempt to big self up!) I have a sharp wit and love a good banter so you will need to be quick on your feet and be able to give as good as you get! I can present as shy but will eventually talk your arms off. I like being around and meeting new people particularly if they are a bit unusual (unusual is goooood).
I love playing my guitar (albeit badly) and going to see bands locally and afar. I love a lot of music but I guess I take great pleasure from listening to Mr Bowie, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles and the Stones (of the Rolling variety as opposed to Roses although don't object to those either), The Rumble Strips, Modest Mouse, Sixth Nation State, and The Maccabees. I love watching films (partly due to my love of popcorn) and have a broad taste with the exception of horror - being a big scardy-pants. I love my family and can't go without seeing them for too long or suffer withdrawal symptoms.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to get through the day!
No in all seriousness I work in Adult Mental Health and love it. Where do trees go to hide? That's right - in a big forest, enough said. : )
I feel it is important to have a meaningful job as we spend so much time doing that!

Hoping to eventually move to London to live with my little sis and am particularly looking forward to walking down the streets that are paved with gold.

Would like to travel more and really experience other cultures and countries and would love to work in other countries in order to do this properly! Unfortunately I a) always seem to have spent my money a day after payday and b) am a bit scared!

I’m really good at

listening and caring. being considerate and kind. all those social worky warm and fuzzy things! without the open toed sandals or tie dyed t shirts!

The first things people usually notice about me

subjectively - my eyes but objectively probably my freckles!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The Book Thief, Running with Scissors, Nelson Mandelas autobiog, most of the Harry Potters (please don't hate me!! - guilty pleasures) and Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Movies - Elf, When Harry met Sally, Private Benjamin, The Hours, American History X, Donnie Darko, Crash, and anything with Johnny Depp in but mostly Whats Eating Gilbert Grape (in part due to the surprise and shock of DiCaprio being able to act and awesomeness of Juliette Lewis).

Food - this is an important one. I LOVE food. Fish probably being fave alongside thai. Now I am salavating like a pavlovs dog!

The six things I could never do without

a sense of humour
popcorn
my family
a feline friend!
music
books

I spend a lot of time thinking about

life and how I can help other people.

On a typical Friday night I am

trying to resist the urge to get a curry!

You should message me if

you like going to gigs and are a bit unusual!
