I am creative, understanding, and caring.

My Self-Summary

Imagine that cliche nice dorky guy in movies before his life changing event. Well I am basically that except I realize/know Im in the real world and have adapted accordingly. Still looking for that life changing event though!

I'm not looking for "a good time" as some people are just on here for. I am, however, looking for someone fun and caring.
I don't just jump into things, friendships blossom into more beautiful things.

Also I can be kind of random. I was the kind of kid that loved watching Bob Ross just as much as Mr Rodgers and cartoons. Got to love those happy little trees.

More recently I have been into meditation and would love a friend who would like to learn from, teach to, and join me.

What I’m doing with my life

College. Attempting to work my way to some kind of psychological field of study, most likely in the field of obesity prevention. I have a passion about healthy living, even if I do not have a completely healthy lifestyle. Mostly for lack of funds.
Either way going for the Dr. title. Also, I'm going for a minor in sociology and nutritional science.
I hope soon I can find my way into a hospital job and work my way into something that will let me use the nutritional science side of my education while I'm in grad school.
Grad school will probably send me to one of the coasts but Ill take anything if I can apply psychology to the field of nutrition. There is a lot of research to be done in that and I hope to get a slice of it.

I’m really good at

listening, conversing, cheering people up, being creative.

I'd like to add driving onto that too but i dont really know much about cars, sadly.

As far as the rest goes, strike up a conversation with me and you will see for yourself. I love discussing anything and knowledge is my ultimate goal in life. Because I have been told I am good at listening/helping people with thier problems was the original reason I wanted to go into psychology. I sure do not regret it.

The first things people usually notice about me

I come off as a little odd mostly because I genuinely care. Once people get to know me they generally see I am actually here to help people.
I come off as a caring person and have been called "intriguing" a few times.
Some people are put off by me because I am open to a fault, basically having no shame or personal secrets. Everything fair game.
I love people and it is obvious, despite a dark sense of humor.
Also, it seems that I am not a good judge of character half the time. I have a nasty habit of seeing the good in people so that clouds my judgment some times.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love lighter and sweeter wines as well as all kinds of sea food and foreign foods. I have a general motto of "I'll try anything twice."
Not much time for books but I love articles; study too much to enjoy a good book but you can talk to me about that for a better reason.
Movies however, are fantastic. I love a wide range of movies from Constantine to A Walk to Remember and a wide variety in between. I own those along with Shallow Hal, Titan AE, Hitch, Spawn, Meet the Fockers, Donnie Darko, some anime, the alien movies, and a few others.

The six things I could never do without

Self control, Quality food, Humor, Conversation, Morning showers, spell check

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, The Universe, and Everything.
What I can do to improve myself. This includes learning how to cook better... I am getting better thanks to living on my own.
Morality is another interesting subject. Message me if you want to talk philosophy.
Ive also made my own game and spend a lot of time playing/running rpgs. If you understand what I am talking about I will be impressed, otherwise just refer to it as dorkspeak.
More recently, I have been applying meditation and a little yoga and I spend a lot of time thinking of how to better center and learn about myself. So if you do yoga or meditation thats a plus!

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends playing RPGs or going to a get together to watch crazy movies with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am a proud virgin (meaning I have had plenty of chances and turned them down/am waiting until marriage). Dispite that, I know a lot more about a lot of things than I really should.
However, I am not so nieve as to think I am going to find a virgin nor do I think that I can realistically find a woman that doesnt need a guy who has an idea of what hes doing.

You should message me if

You enjoy a good conversation over a cup of coffee, tea, or a meal.
If you are bored, why not ask me something out there and tease your brain a little? Shoot me a random question about anything? We can always use pleasant conversation.
If you like thinking about philosophy or the human condition.
You should definitely message me if you have a story to share; I love stories.
or if you just want to hang out and meet some one a bit different. I'm just crazy enough to love people.
Also if you are a little crazy or dorky or whatever you want to call it.
You should definitly message me if you are the type of woman who wants to adventure and bring someone open minded and willing to try anything twice.
