I celebrate Halloween several times a year, bark up the wrong trees, and I am brutally honest with most clerks at CVS. Except fo Rosco, cuz he smack me.

I'm passionate about my career, have a wildly irreverent wit, strong moral convictions for environmental stewardship and economic justice, and a penchant for deep conversations. I'm pragmatic. I also like to kickbox, dance, water ski, hike and pull pranks on people.

I'm an executive director of a solar energy training school and dedicated to cleaning up some of the shit our previous generations left on our table. I'm also designing a worker placement zombie board game in my spare time. Geekin' out when need be, y'all.

I've been kickboxing a lot lately in my back yard. I'm a good teacher with a few students. It's very cathartic. I also love to dance and sing in the shower. I can impersonate Bowie, Springsteen, Tom Waits, even Sade and Lana del Rey on some days. I'm also into acting, dancing, general merriment, philosophizing, running around Fairmount. I wrote a book recently, non fiction, guide to designing solar PV systems and we're getting it published.... eventually! I may go into writing full time. Seems a lot less bothersome than executive directing.

I seem to find a new favorite band every week: Depeche Mode, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, CSS, Dylan, The Clash, Ramones, Beatles, David Bowie, The Knife, The Sounds, Ladyhawke, Discovery, Justice, Fever Ray, Big History, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Teagan and Sarah, Air, Phoenix, Leonard Cohen, John Prine, Steve Earle, Pet Shop Boys, Cut Copy, Sneaky Sound System, Sharon Jones, Junior Boys, Lykke Li, Bob Dylan, Architecture in Helsinki, Ellie Goulding, Icona Pop, Royksopp, Niki and the Dove and most other girly Swedish pop music (I have no clue why but I stopped fighting the urges a while back)

Food: Anything but fungus... or squash. And actually I will eat those, but there's something appealing about having an inanimate enemy... especially a pathetic one that lacks both locomotion AND photosynthesis. I try to eat only health foods these days but succumb to the allure of a cheeseburger hoagie on occasion...
