My self-summary
I like London, writing, movies and running. I also like trying to be concise.

Just as a side note: I've had a weird amount of right-wing women who vote Conservative want to date me lately. As perfectly pleasant as some of them have been, it's just not going to work out. You could be the bee's knees in every other regard, but Conservatism is literally the biggest turn off I can imagine. Lefties only please.
What I’m doing with my life
Busy as hell. I'm running a culture blog (shameless plug: www.londoncitynights.com), so I get sent tickets to all kinds of things by PR folks. And I will literally go and see anything I get offered tickets to. ANYTHING. This means I'm out most nights of the week, so I wanna meet people who want to head off to plays/art/film previews etc.

Also, in a bid to fully become a walking stereotype I've also recently (and sort of inadvertently) become a performance artist. So far I have painted myself white (see pic on profile) and had people throw coloured goo at me, and given an improvised lecture about spiritual enlightenment in the V&A museum. It's dead fun - but am I becoming a bit of a parody?
I’m really good at
I'm really good at running these days. It's such a nice meditative thing to do. No-one is hassling me or bothering me while I'm doing it and I feel great afterwards.

I also know shitloads of useless trivia about London. So if you're walking round with me I have a compulsion to point out the hidden gravestones of Roman princesses or where nazi dogs are buried and whatnot.

I'm also good at writing a lot of words to self-imposed deadlines
The first things people usually notice about me
The intense aura of zen-like happiness and positivity surrounding my every move.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books/Literature: I like lots of books. Lately I like Peter Ackroyd, Grant Morrison and Will Self.

Movies: I like most movies in one way or another, even the crappily offensive ones are fun to write about. Faves of 2013 are Spring Breakers, Philomena and Only God Forgives.

Music: I like lots of music. Lately I'm into angry girl rappers. V much enjoying Angel Haze.

Food: I like food without meat in it. Falafel is delicious.
The six things I could never do without
I like having enough money to buy things I like without feeling guilty about spending on stuff I don't technically need, a music player of some description, running stuff, a decent internet connection, a kettle and maybe a cafetiere and some ground coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The myriad ways in which I'd change the world if I had the power to do so.
On a typical Friday night I am
At a film, play or art exhibition. Maybe a club or pub later.

If I am in I'll probably be watching a film, at the moment, most likely something from the late 80s at the moment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I resent having to leave London for any reason whatsoever. If it's outside the M25 there's probably a better version of it in London somewhere.
