In general I am a positive minded optimist and strive to live life in a conscientious, resourceful, leave-nothing-but-footprints way and strive to keep an open mind in order to gain new perspectives every day. Have lived in Oakland since 2001. Originally from the state of Florida. Big fan of road trips and the great outdoors. If I owned a car I'd be on the open road getting out of town much more often. I bike everywhere and go for walks nearly every day. Always busy with my hands crafting or creating art. Never bored. There's always something to do.

Attending community for a graphic design degree. Entering my second year of self employment from selling records online and selling my art around Oaktown. Often on the look out for old records at thrift shops, estate sales, flea markets or antique fairs and also searching for cool old vintage paper ephemera (especially old Oakland artifacts) to incorporate into my arts & crafts.

Creating with my hands, drawing, screenprinting, art making, listening, giving, living with less.

Primarily find myself reading biography and history books.
Never got a converter box when TV switched from analog to digital. I have nothing against TV but it's just not a priority.
Not a fan of Hollywood movies. Independent films have more to say. Often watch documentary and comedy DVDs checked out from the library.
Any music that's got soul and makes my feet tap and body dance I like: Soul, Jazz, Funk, Rn'B, Bluegrass, Folk, early Country, Rock N' Roll.
Home cooked meals are my favorite meals. Thai food, Indian food, Mexican food, Italian food is delicious too. There's probably other world culture food I'm missing out on as well.

There are a lot of material excess I can enjoy life without but as far as the basic day to day things go I'd have to say coffee in the morning, a record turntable, the warmth of the shining sun, the great outdoors and the natural elements of nature, a sense of humor, a creative outlet, a good nights sleep, the ability to walk, dream, think, ponder, reason and love... I would love to be sharing a lifetime of love with a wonderful woman
