My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Genuine British accent!

I have a talent for not planning my weekends. I'm typically hitting people up on a Friday to see if anyone wants to go out. Not sure this makes me spontaneous, just reactive!

When I'm not working you'll find me doing a combination of keeping active, hanging out at the coffee shop or finding a source of comedy that will make me laugh! I've been climbing for a while now and have recently started doing pilates.

Signed up to run two half marathons in 2013 and successfully completed them both. I'm not quick, but I can be very determined to finish something that I've started!

Apparently I am underestimated on a regular basis. Last year we made a video at work for a work conference that involved Bollywood dancing. I was approached many times afterwards with people complimenting my dancing...they were shocked that I had any sort of rhythm. I don't know why...

I'm adding new photos as I find acceptable ones, but I photograph about as well as Chandler from Friends!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved to the US 6 years ago for work and really enjoy being in the Bay Area. I work in finance for a large IT company and have been working on integrating an acquisition we made a year's throwing up many different challenges vs my prior roles!

I like to travel although still haven't done enough. The last 5yrs have been more city focused, but starting to think I need to see the amazing sights outside of the cities as well. I also need to venture south of the equator at some point!

Btw, I'm already a permanent resident, so no visa complications from me!

Comedy is my #1 choice in pretty much every medium. Films, stand-up and TV shows are all fair game.

In terms of keeping active, you can find me mixing up the gym, running, climbing, soccer, rugby, trampolining, cycling and squash... but I'm not adversed to trying any sport. I'll bring the enthusiasm, not necessarily any skill! Do you need someone else for your team? I'm game for a try!

Movies: Most comedies, Shawshank, the latest Batman trilogy...

Music: Oasis, Blur, Queen, Coldplay, Foster the people, Neon trees, Fun., REM, Third Eye Blind, Intercept, U2... just to name a few. I've also recently determined that I like private Karaoke rooms... space to experiment.

Food: Spicy food, BBQ, Curry, Sushi, Paella, Seafood in general

Favorite books: Yes Man, Freakonomics, Superfreakonomics, Googlewhacks, Are you Dave Gorman?

I'm not good at listening to doctors. I was told when I was about 8 years old that I should never play sport again. To me this meant switching from playing outfield to in goal for soccer. The doctor gave up trying to stop me by the time I was 11. I went on to play rugby for my school and university.
