My self-summary
"Vice, Virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much *life.* Aim above morality. If you apply that to life, then you're bound to live life fully." ~ Maude

Interested in the bigger picture. Open-minded. Open-hearted. Perfectly happy with imperfection. Fascinated. ENTP.

Also, polyamorous. If I could put that as my relationship status, I would. I do currently have varying degrees of connections, and I'm open to anything from super casual to friendship to more long-term/committed. I like to let relationships evolve naturally and don't put pressure on them becoming anything specific.
What I’m doing with my life
Exploring new ideas, always. Playing guitar and writing songs. Occasionally teaching people stuff about nature. Playing soccer. I <3 soccer. Making fire by rubbing two sticks together. Working on my house. Desert walks and talks. Exploring the taboo and unconventional and finding my edges.
I’m really good at
Communication. Making words do what I want -- i.e. writing.

Anything athletic: soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball -- you name it, I'll throw my body into it.

Researching and discovering and compiling information in creative and unique ways.

Getting 72% matches on OKC. Seriously, I have so many of these. Haha
The first things people usually notice about me
Smile, eyes, long hair, man bun, beard. One of those things, probably.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I haven't read a good book in a really long time. Historically, I've been really into philosophical fiction (such as "Siddhartha") or non-fiction about natural history. Lately, all I read are internet blogs or random articles.

Movies: Harold & Maude, Contact, Little Miss Sunshine, Idiocracy

Music: Folk, Bluegrass, Reggae, Dubstep (strictly for dancing)

Food: Ribeyes, butter, bone broth, homemade ice cream ... if you want to talk nutrition, let me know :-)
The six things I could never do without
Human touch
Access to wilderness
Close friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Which project to tackle next on my house, how to be more creative in my work, and what to put in the book I'd like to start writing at some point.

Also, I'm constantly checking in with how I'm breathing. It's pretty important stuff, ya know.
On a typical Friday night I am
Eating a home-cooked meal, camping in the mountains, hanging out with friends, soccer.
You should message me if
You're not a jealous, possessive, or critical person.

You approach taboo subjects with curiosity rather than snap judgments.

You understand that loving another person ultimately means self-love and self-value.

Or, you know, you just want to kick around a soccer ball or go for a nice walk. :)
