My home will always be Louisiana, but L.A. is where I'm hanging my hat(not for much longer , headed home in June). My passion for art and animation is what brought me here. To be honest, I'm a laid back smart ass who is down for just about anything(Except one of those 20 bucks to get in, 20 bucks for a beer places). The perfect day for me is a day of good food ,good conversation and good friends the location is optional. My definition of a rich man isnt a person with a lot of money or property ( it wouldn't hurt ), but one who has a wealth of good memories.
In my spare time I enjoy finding hole in the walls, bbqin'/grilling, painting, live music, and roller coasters/ theme parks( seriously I'm a theme park nut. Nerd would be the proper nomenclature), random road trips, you get the idea. Well I could keep going but I should have a few surprises.

First and foremost I'm in the pursuit of happiness. If you don't have that, your missing the point of all of this. In that pursuit I'm learning to savor the moment, especially the good ones. There is nothing rarer than the moment your in. Last , Im working my way up to post production ladder and refining my craft, be thy painting or animation.

A few things to be honest. Not to toot my own horn , but I consider myself a bit of a Renaissance man. Art for instance. I've been on a big painting kick lately. Another , would be grilling. I know it's cliche for a southern guy to say that, but I am.

I guess I'd have to say that I'm approachable. Strangers seem to have no issue with walking up to me and starting a conversation. Second would be my beard or lack there of. I tend to have facial hair in some configuration every once in a while. The same thing over and over get boring. I've been told I can rock a beard and not look like a bum.

Well if your like me sometimes one favorite just isn't enough . So favorite book would have to be Lightning by Dean Koontz. It's a fresh twist on an old idea but I won't say more or I'll ruin it. Others would be Quozl, Shadow Moon,The Dark Tower Series, The Historian, Fear Nothing, The Talisman, Congo.

For Movies , if it had to be one ( based on the fact I've seen it to the point of being able to quote it) Big Trouble in Little China! Kurt Russell is king, period. Life, Any Pixar film, Any Studio Ghibli, REMO WILLIAMS>, Big Lebowski ( nobody fucks with the Jesus),Tremors, The Quite Man, Tombstone, Soldier, Escape from New York, Stir Crazy, Young Frankenstien, Robin Hood Men in tights, The Fifth Element,Back to the Future Trilogy, The Original Starwars Trilogy(I cant stand the new ones), Indiana Jones Trilogy(again I dont count the last one, I will give no more money to George, he and Steven were smoking Crack!)I could continue but I have a feeling you get the picture........ Im a bit of a nerd.
As far as music I'd say style would be Blues and band ZZTop. That said I come from a family of music lovers, so from Springsteen to Pickett and from Cameo to Prima, I love it all( except modern country! I have to draw the line at the 80's. If you ask what about" so and so"? Were they before the 80's? If no then, HELL NO!).

Food, Again I love it all ( except vegan, I want real cheese damn it) . Just for the reason that the closest place is over 2000 mile from my grasp, it would be Cajun.And no there aren't any real Cajun food restaurants out here. Michael's in burbank isn't cajun thats like saying Spegettio's are authentic Italian. Indian, Italian, Mexican, Greek, I could keep going.

My family, a pencil and paper, good company, music and good stories(be they movies , books or personal experiences)

My Mind is always running nonstop but here are the usuals:
I painted a chimp with a hand gun so what do I paint next? A drunk orangutan? I am lucky to have a job and one that I enjoy. Its amazing to get paid to do something you love. When will I finish learning how to play the banjo? Is this a Good Karaoke Song? Can I sing it?Nope. Would this make a good marinade? Why do they keep remaking movies? Why did they think that was a good idea? They have so many good books out there do movie executives know how to read?

Relaxing at home after a long week of work or out with friends but I usually reserve that for weekends.

I've never seen snow. I've seen it in air but in Louisiana it melts about 7' above the ground . It never collects enough to touch the stuff.

You are someone who's little goofy, PASSIONATE,a bit nerdy, a child at heart, intelligent, independent, music lover, Enjoys trying and finding new things, Prefers a dive bar to a dance club, enjoys a good beer as much as a good glass of wine,in the pursuit of happiness, oh and interesting. Los Angeles is full of people who are all about themselves and no one else, to be honest I have had enough of those people. If you have an open heart and open mind and like to share you let me know.

Warning: Nothing against Vegans (except for vegan cheese. Why the need to make fake versions of animal products?), I am open to dating one. But if you preach more than a baptist minister at a porn convention and your opinion is as superior, dont bother. No high horse ridding here. We all make choices, no one choice is better than another. Whats good for you is cool with me.
