My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really enjoy going to see live music. It's probably my favorite activity. Whether it's seeing a big time band at an arena or just going to a dive bar and watching 4 middle aged guys struggle to cover classic rock, I want to be there. I'm a big fan of all types of rock music, but I don't discriminate against anyone's tastes. I'll give anything a chance. I'm not going to guarantee I'll enjoy it, but I'll keep an open mind!

Recently I started doing some open mic comedy nights. Stand up is always something I've been interested in so it's made for a fun hobby.

As you can tell by my user name, I'm a pretty big Red Sox fan as well. However, I wouldn't expect someone I'm dating to watch games with me if they aren't interested. I've learned over the years that simply having common interests with someone does not make a relationship work. Therefore, even if you don't enjoy sports at all, I'd still be interested in hearing from you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am working as a customer service representative at a local bank. It's very interesting to work with the public on a daily basis. I feel that it gives me a decent perspective on people from all walks of life. I can't say that this is always a pleasant experience, but I've learned a lot of life lessons. I enjoy my job for the most part but I don't believe that this is what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Awkwardly filling out online dating profiles. Obviously.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Maybe my eyes, but probably my beard. Apparently a lot of dudes have a hard time growing one and girls love pointing them out. It is a pretty nice beard if I'm being honest.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite movies include: Pulp Fiction, The Hangover, Rocky (1-4), The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Rookie Of The Year, The Dark Knight trilogy, Anchorman and Gone Baby Gone. I mainly enjoy crime dramas and comedies, with the occasional super hero romp thrown in.

Favorite shows include: The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community, How I Met Your Mother, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friday Night Lights, The Shield, Arrested Development, The Walking Dead, Seinfeld, Breaking Bad and Louie

I enjoy a variety of music, but some of my favorites are The Foo Fighters, Dropkick Murphys, Pearl Jam, Sublime, The Dirty Heads, The Who, The Clash, Elton John, The White Stripes, Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Against Me!, Johnny Cash...I could go on for a while so I'll stop here.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Going to stay away from the obvious friends and family and not take this too seriously

1. My IPhone (holds all my music AND my friends phone numbers. Important!)
2. Food (literally of course, plus I love going out to eat and trying new places)
3. Beer (don't worry, not every night)
4. Fenway Park (when they inevitably tear it down I am going to be embrassingly distraught)
5. My alarm (would never wake up on time without it)
6. A razor (to keep my beard trim and professional. My work won't allow me to become a mountain man)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why this site won't allow me to change my username without paying money. I feel it doesn't reflect my personality but I'm not willing to pay for an identity. Also, who would pay money for anything on a free dating site?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I usually work Friday nights and Saturday mornings, so on Friday's I tend to try and catch up on sleep. But I can pretty easily be convinced otherwise if someone has something interesting going on. Saturdays are my main night out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

When I was 10 years old and Limp Bizkit was all the rage, I briefly owned a red Yankees hat. Proud to say the hat was destroyed as were all of my Limp Bizkit CDs. It was indeed a dark period in my life.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I've found that guys have to do most of the messaging on here, since all of the women have their inboxes filled with about 300 messages as soon as they sign up, mostly from scumbags. But still, message me if anything you've read so far interests you.
