I am carefree, funny, and quizzical.

My Self-Summary

I'm an easy going guy who likes a lot of things, especially finding new things to do.
Music is my favorite thing in the world. I've always got some song or another in my head if I'm not listening to one. I love making music, too. Whether I'm on violin, guitar, or bass, collaborations are definitely one of my favorite activities.
But enough about that, I also like movies, books, running, and riding my trail bike.
MAN that bike's killer, sometimes I'll spend half a day just riding around blazing old trails and finding new ones.
So whatcha waiting for? Drop me a line sometime and lets make a few trails together.

What I’m doing with my life

Working for a living, embarking on a never-ending quest new recipes, and getting ready to give college a second shot this fall.

I’m really good at

improvising through a tough draw.

The first things people usually notice about me

my height. At least I think so.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Well, favorites are almost impossible to decide, but I really like comedy and action. Some movies I really like off the top of my head would be The Wriscutters, Virgin Territory, Serenity, Oceans 11, and Anchorman.
As for books, anything that makes you laugh or think. I'm currently reading The Blight Way by Patrick McManus, one of my favorite authors.
It's really hard to say what music I like the most, since the only thing that makes me like one style more than another is what I'm feeling like listening to. I've always liked things with an upped tempo (anything from metal to rockabilly), some electronic (like industrial, you know Nine Inch Nails) and trippy stuff (some new age, and Tool).
I'm not too picky about food, but I really like things that start with a good tasting base, then add just the right amounts of veggies, herbs, spices and sauces. Of course, failing that, it's always nice to throw together something myself and call it a dish. Two things that stick out in my mind right now would be chocolate peanut butter pancakes and jalapeno cornbread.

The six things I could never do without

My legs, my ears, my eyes, my mouth, my hands and my good ol' noggin.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

all kinds of cool things I wanna do. Travel for months and months living in a camper, make motorcycles and airplanes from scratch, be an amateur pilot, etc. I've never stopped that kiddish dreaming in my spare time, but I really should spend more time thinking about how I can make it happen.

On a typical Friday night I am

having a good time with a good buddy! Sometimes you just gotta recover from work. What better way than to laugh? Occasionally I have to work through the weekend, though, so I pretty much just get home, exercise a bit, and go to bed. My job really wears me out sometimes...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I could stand to pay a little more attention than I do. That would, of course, be any attention at all.

You should message me if

You want to meet someone new who's a little bit of a hippy in disguise.
