I may be taking this too seriously, but choosing favorites is kind of stressful and completely unnecessary. There is an abundance of beauty and wonder to be had in this big, wonderful world. I can't begin to sufficiently explain how I experience music, but when I try, I borrow from the language of religion. Music is the closest thing to 'spirituality' that I know: at it's best it is profound, all-consuming, deeply fulfilling, euphoric.

To sum up... I can only answer this question as it applies to what I'm loving at this moment, right now. There is this Bach cello solo, "Prelude". It ignites my soul. So do Sia's 'Chandelier' and, more recently, 'Elastic Heart'. They make me want to belt my heart out. I've also had some 'We Light Up The World' and Beyoncé on rotation lately. I do love a good baby making song. And anything that makes me want to dance.

So let's turn that shit up.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Leggings. Give me leggings or give me death. Or yoga pants.
Cards Against Humanity
Minor keys
Cat videos
Public radio
Mary Jane
Vanilla lattes
Dan Savage
Amy Shumer
The Weekend

That's about six.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How other adult females get their bruise-free legs. My next tattoo. Money. Success. What it might have been like to live in another time or place. How strange and beautiful and rare it is to be alive. Who I am. Who I want to become. The planets. The black hole at the center of our galaxy. People. Music and the power it can wield over my emotions. Plants. Power. Benevolent dictatorship. Gentrification. Gun Culture. Violence. Gender dynamics. Humanity. Feminism. How to become a leader, protector and supporter of women. Honor in modern America. Honor in general. Milennials. Entitlement. Style. Sex. Love. Everything in between. The law. The GOP clown car. Standup comedy. Madness. The unfathomable genius of Ludwig van Beethoven. Articles in the interwebs. Lines from poems that have stuck with me. "Do I dare to eat a peach?"
