I am a geek, an individual, and witty.

My Self-Summary

{~}I am very keen on friendship and hold it with high regards.

{~}I am a nice guy. Not perfect, but a gentleman compared to most.

{~}I am old school about my dating habits: I don't rush into it.

{~}I'm probably a little more naive than I want to be. This is probably related to the my hopeless romantic outlook on love.

{~}My Hobbies: Movies, Music, Technology, Snowboarding, Racquetball, Target Shooting, Swimming

{~}I am only 21, don't judge a book by its publishing date though. I grew up quick and live alone 3000 miles away from any relatives.

What I’m doing with my life

I've got a job. I am the sole Desktop Support Technician from Medtronic's Bravo Project. As their name suggests Medtronic makes medical devices. I'm in charge of making sure all the laptops used in a pH implant system are up to FDA regulations and pack them up for shipment.

I like the Tempe Marketplace. It is probably one of the best places I've found in the valley- good times, great food, and you can never go wrong with Dave & Busters.

O yeah, and I'm looking for more friends maybe even a prospective girlfriend.

I’m really good at

Racquetball - Not really. This is a blatant lie. I enjoy it, but I've got a ways to go until I can be considered good.

Technology - I'm a geek/dork/nerd and I am good at what I do.

Back Massages - At least that's what I'm told

Lulz - I love having fun, and though its not a real skill I try to have a good time and get the people I'm with to laugh a little.

The first things people usually notice about me

My face? I've got some nice eyes. I also believe my face is pretty recognizable and unforgettable. This section is really hard not to sound narcissistic.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - I'm finished with a series of books by Isaac Asimov known as Foundation. I also enjoy Phillip K Dick, Frank Herbert, Stephen Colbert, J.K. Rowling, and I will make an effort to read Stephanie Meyer later. For now I'm reading William Gibson.

Movies - I'm a pretty big movie fan. Some of my favorites include but are in no way limited to 50 First Date, 1408, Behind Enemy Lines, Blade Runner, Catch Me If You Can, Fight Club, Good Luck Chuck, Hot Fuzz, Iron Man, Juno, Memento, Pirates of The Caribbean (big Johnny Depp Fan), The Illusionist, The Prestige, The Princess Bride, The Terminal, Run Lola Run, V for Vendetta... and the list continues...

TV - It wasn't listed in this section but it really seems like this is where it belongs. I currently keep up to date with the following show: The Office, Weeds, Fringe, The Big Bang Theory. As for old shows I still watch: Arrested Development, Frasier, Dead Like Me...
I also enjoy Dirty Jobs, No Reservations, and a number of animated shows on adult swim. I think anything on Discovery TLC or Science channel will snag my attention for a while.

Music - Like the past 3, my interests here are also diverse. Just about any genre will suit my taste, except for country. I was listening to mashup music, like Girl Talk. I however are leaning more towards techno/DJ music as well as a little more mellow stuff like Modest Mouse and Radiohead. I also listen to the radio and the popular stuff like Lady GaGa. Before that I was listening to 3OH3, Mickey Avalon, Gorillaz, Jurrassic 5, Franz Ferdinand, MCR, and this list also continues...

The six things I could never do without

In no specific order:

1 - Friends

2 - Family

3 - Water - not just for biological reasons

4 - Technology (i.e. Computer/cellphone)

5 - Music

6 - Intelligent Conversation / Debate / Theories / Philosophy
** Not just drunk philosopher syndrome - you know when your drunk or high and you think shit so so crazy and deep when your just under the influence of a chemical.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

When I am in the pondering mood I think about paths in life people choose, why people do things, why I did what I did, what choices I'm going to make in the future - but all of these result in me asking myself why did I just waste the last 2 hours wondering that when I could be out doing it.

I also like to think about crazy technology / theories. Like quantum mechanics, that's always good for some deep thought.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out and about, usually enjoying a nice drink and some excellent food. If no opportunities present themselves I take the time to go to the gym and maybe play some racquetball.

I usually hang out with a friend or 2 watching a movie after going out for the previously mentioned drink/food.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

hmmm.....
I"m not to keen on the whole internet dating. To tell the truth it makes me a little nervous.

I'm pretty easy going, so just ask if you have a question.

You should message me if

You have a little geek/dork/nerd inside you. Always good to find others like myself.

You just want to chat, make a friend.

You have any questions, I like questions.

Comments or critiques also are message worthy.

....

Or you think I'm what you want in a relationship, duh.
