My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Ryan and below this sentence is most likely a very poorly executed online self description!

The most important thing about me has always been my strong belief that life has near limitless possibilities which makes it incredibly hard for me to stick to just one career path or the same old interests. My wish is to beable to go to school for the rest of my life! That way I can always be learning something new. Speaking of school, I recently graduated from the udub and am enjoying a half full plate i.e. just work! So I am really trying to remember what to do with all this new found free time. This has included going to all the shows I have been unable to see for years, trying to hike without falling down, and going on impromptu vacations/roadtrips. It also means I finally have more time to try for one of those "meaningful relationships" which is why I decided to venture online (the internet provides so much!) but making new friends is also something I desire.

Some of my interests include; zombies, music, mayhem(I try and fail at this), and book hunting. Music is one of the most important things in my life and it gets me through even the roughest days mentally intact! I mostly enjoy alternative, indie, punk, hardcore and experimental rock. Like most people around town I do love live music the best! Another past-time for me is just walking around and people watching. Seriously, where else but in Seattle can you see a guy in a kilt riding a unicycle down the road in the rain? Also, even after graduating I still love to learn so I can be found at various lectures around the city!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and doing all of the previously described fun stuff!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I used to play soccer and did fencing (yes with swords!). Both of which I got pretty good at over the years though am probably rusty now. Skiing has also been a hobby of mine but I am better at crashing into trees than skillfully navigating courses.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If its not my hair then it's probably the fact that my voice is ridiculous. Most people comment on it being strange that such a skinny guy has a rather deep voice. I think its funny when I talk to people on the phone and they finally meet me. Almost everyone is shocked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: My favorite books of all time are those written by Chuck Palahniuk, Frank Herbert, Solzhenitsyn, B.E.E, Neil Gaiman, Cormac Mccarthy, George R.R. Martin, John le Carré, and Robert Ludlum. Also, if you know of any unknown but amazing authors to recommend please tell me! There is nothing better then trading favorite author or book lists with someone. Well I take that back sharing new music is equally fantastic. I can also quote most of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and someday will get an epic tattoo from the book.

Food: I love all food but my favorites would be thai and sushi! Urbanspoon/Yelp are two of my best digital friends and restaurant hunting is so much fun. Since moving back to Ballard I seriously spend all too much eating out but it is totally worth it.

RANDOM EPIC LIST TIME(mostly music): Pad thai, jackie chan movies (especially drunken master), Fall of Troy,Broken Social Scene, Moneta, Coheed and Cambria, exhibits on space, THE MOVIE SUNSHINE, Firefly,Arrested Development, Parks&Rec, X-files, The Wire, Dexter, The Office, School Yard Heroes, Man Overboard, Forgive Durden, Muse, Drmanhattan(the band), Anti-flag, Gatsby's American Dream, Oldboy, Mumford and Sons, Straylight Run, Taking Back Sunday, SIFF, Escape from Newyork, Zombieland, Winter's Tale, The Format No Country for Oldmen, Hanna, Dameria, BBNR!, Evil Dead, Envy on the Coast, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Kids in Glass Houses, Paddock Park, Faster Faster, Karate HighSchool, Chromeo, JamisonParker (I really do like this terribly emo band), Armor for Sleep, The Audition, Tiger Tiger!,Tokyo Police Club, Thrice, Less Avenged, Explosions in the Sky, Serenity, skiing and so much more...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
the interwebz
and these songs:

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am trying to find my place in the world and hopefully accomplish something meaningful before I am 30. Also, pondering life's great mysteries until all hours of the night a.k.a insomnia. Fightclub made it much more glamorous then it actually is.

Oh and zombies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well I work Tuesday - Friday so most likely I am beating my head against a desk all night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Harry Potter and don't care who knows!!!!

I also have dyslexia which comes out only when I am sleep deprived. So hopefully I haven't made any egregious spelling/grammar errors while writing this!
