I'm a different type of guy, and I like that, so I definitely like other gents who feel comfortable being different and can think on their own. I can be rational to a fault, but I'm into guys who are artsy or granola (that's an adjective!) just as well as science 'mos. I don't have a type.

I have a lot of passions, and I just can't see myself gelling with people that don't have the ability to keep themselves stimulated. I'm into pastry, cooking in general, tinkering with electronics (you'll pry my soldering iron from my cold dead hands), digital art including photography, graphic design and computer animation, video games and game programming, rollerblading, dance music, DMX fixtures and light jockeying, computer programming, gardening, homesteading etc.

I'm an INTJ, for those with an interest in that sort of thing.

Negativity is a drag, but I think it might be helpful to include a few things that I find to be a turnoff. I you have little in the way of interests or ever say you are *bored* (If you're over 6 years old, you should have the ability to entertain yourself), we won't hit it off. I'm a thinker and a skepticist, so things with no scientific basis like alternative medicine, feng shui, and other assorted bullshit bother me.

I'm a computer programmer by day, and an avid amateur pastry chef when I'm not working. I host a cooking club for gay guys (www.theepicureans.com).
I'm becoming an urban homesteader as a product of my love of learning how to do things and being self-sufficient. I recently bought a few chickens that are a huge source of amusement.
I love road trips, camping, dining out at new places, and driving with the dance music pumping. I enjoy going out, but sometimes I find it hard to tear myself away from all of my little personal projects. I'd really like to learn glass fusing, slumping, and casting, and how to play the acoustic guitar.
