My Self-Summary
I am new to this and not certain what I will find here but what the
hell?!
I laugh easily and am passionate about those I care about. I can find the fun in anything and I am always willing to try new experiences. I have built a life I am proud of and happy with and am looking for someone to share it with though I am not in a rush and am happy to meet people have some fun and see where things go.
I love to be outdoors. I enjoy being with friends and willingly embrace almost any activity. I quite enjoy manual labour and don't mind getting dirty but I can fit in a variety of social situations having experienced embassy dinners and farm labour.
I teach Deaf children and am fluent in American Sign Language. I am also fluent in Korean and I lived and worked in Korea for several years. I love to travel and have been to over 27 countries and most of the states and provinces.

Now in Korean
I no longer have the right keyboard to fill this part in. I lived
in Pyonchon for 3 years and loved it. I worked in Kwachon at the
government offices. It was a great experience that helped shape me
as a person.
What I’m doing with my life
Well I teach Deaf children it is a rewarding job but also a sweet
gig if you can get it.
I have spent the last year home with my son and have loved every minute of it. Being home has given me tonnes of time to undertake some new interests such as learning the guitar, I am still learning .. I am very bad, but I like it and the baby thins mommy is a rock star and I am ok with that. I also spend a lot of time at the gym, playing or hanging out with friends.
My aspirations at the moment center around fitness and I would love to run the 10K next mother's day!
Rugby is my sport of choice but I had an absolute blast at City Chase this year and think EVERYONE should try it.

My friends would tell you that I am strong and an inspiration and I strive to maintain my status as a role model. That being said I am also pretty funny and I love to laugh and have a good time. I can find the fun in ANYTHING and I am willing to learn and try new things.
I am a champion at colouring and I am fantastic at making an ass of myself if the situation calls for it. I am not afraid to embarrass myself and try anything at least once as long as you promise not to laugh too hard at my lack of skill.

Hmmm.. That I am a good conversationalist. I think.. I need to
think about this one. Oh and my smile and eyes.. my eyes are a
little odd in that they are hazel but they change between green and
brown with my moods.. a little freaky I know.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Ok this is totally dorky... I just finished reading the Twilight Saga and I LOVED it
.. no I am not 15 but I spend a lot of time with 15 year old girls
and maybe they are rubbing off on me. I swear it is great read and
excellent escape.
I read a lot of books my students can read always searching for things that will capture their interest. However authors I enjoy are Rohinton Mistry, Malcolm Gladwell and Dan Brown.
I love music of all kinds both playing and listening and I do mean ALL kinds.. I have quite and eclectic collection.
Food.. I love to cook and am pretty good at it.. so if you like food just ask and I will bake or cook for you.. as for eating.. not picky.. food fills the hunger gap.. it is not something that really gets me going.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything..I am always thinking.. . I over analyze... it is my
weakness.. oh and how I am going to take over the world... so far I
have several plots.. one involving becoming the first female cult
leader.. one becoming the first elected female Prime minister.... I
have quite a platform already thought out to launch either plan
when the time for world domination is right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing with my boy, enjoying the last of the evening maybe
reading outside or practicing the guitar. I may have friends over
for a dinner party and games night. I enjoy being the entertainer
and party planner. I do enjoy a movie but I hate watching them
alone.. I love to be scared but I need someone to grab onto during
the scary parts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a widow. I lost my husband when I was pregnant with the baby.
It was a tough year but I am ready and excited about moving on with
life. It has been long enough and I am in a healthy and happy
place.
