My Self-Summary
Hello! My name is Josh, and I'm a very simple and easy person to
get along with. I've lived in Lafayette almost my whole life, with
the small exception of a few other places. I'm really into
music, hanging out
with friends, and
just keeping busy with life.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working full-time to pay off bills. Soon, I will be
attending the Firefighter Academy in Baton Rouge, and after that,
will be a firefighter in Opelousas. I'm always hanging out with
friends, listening
to music everywhere
I go, and just trying to enjoy life. I love spending time with my
family when I can.
I go out with friends sometimes and shoot pool, although I'm terrible at it. I'm a
very fluent person when it comes to computers, normally fixing laptops and
such when friends ask me for help. I love skiing, jogging, Judo, and lots of other things to keep my
life interesting.
I’m really good at
Computers are
something I'm very good with. I've been using them since I was
little and have had a knack handling them. I love to go jogging when I have the
time, its always something I was a fan of. I'm really fluent in
different genres of music and movies, and am very open to new sounds
and sights. I played Judo for 10 years, and although am still
not currently playing it, still retain a lot of the knowledge I
gained from it.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing would normally be my very curly hair, or my
eyelashes/eye color. Thats normally the first thing I will be
commented on. I normally wear my glasses, so my eyes will sometimes
go unnoticed until they are taken off.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite book would have to be "The Way of the Peaceful
Warrior". A professor recommended the book to me, and I took it
upon myself to find it and read it. It was definitely an
inspirational book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My favorite movie
would have to be "Donnie Darko". I thought the plot twists and
concept of the movie were awesome, and I'm always willing to watch
it again. My primary genres of music I like are rock, techno, and some rap. I generally listen to anything, and I'm
always willing to hear other bands/singers/groups. My favorite food
would have to be cereal. I'm always willing to eat a bowl of cereal
anytime of the day.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How all of my friends and family are doing, what my plans are for
the next day, or a song that is stuck in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably working. Being that I work full-time, I normally don't
have many days off, so I'm generally at work. If I'm not working,
I'll definitely be with the friends, either going out or just
hanging out at home, talking and having a few drinks.
