I'm single and a mom and just loving being a mom!! I am passionate about my daughter and about my family. I recently moved back to Michigan after being away for many many years (over 20). I want to stay her in Michigan and raise my daughter and enjoy my family. I am very content with life and work hard to provide a loving home for my daughter. I have been in the IT Industry for the past 12 years and now work as an Analyst. I am passionate about family, animals, and music and just enjoying life. I have played the guitar and sang on and off my whole life. I am an active person and have run many races in the past including the Chicago marathon. I am not exercising as regularly as I would like with a little one, but it is very important to me that my daughter learn to take care of her body, mind, soul and spirit. I've recently started yoga and love it. I am a very spiritual person but not religious. I don't want to put God in a box anymore. I'm happier right now than I've ever been. I hope to make new friends.

Working hard at providing for my daughter and making a good life for us and our family. I hope one day soon I can pick up my guitar again and write some more songs. I also hope I can get back into some regular jogging too. I spend all my time with my daughter, just soaking her up and enjoying every moment. I love to read to her, sing to and with her, play with her and see her with family and friends.

I'm pretty determined and if I put my mind to something usually accomplish it. I delight in even the smallest accomplishments (like a small project around the house). I also value people and I think they can sense that about me. I've gained some wisdom in my old age.

I make them feel at ease.

I'm reading all kids books, but we have some great ones...Sing Sophie comes to mind. In the past I've enjoyed self help type books. I love a wide range of movies...I just love time travel movies like Back to the Future, comedy, drama, action, adventure, documentary, some chick flicks. It would probably be easier to say what I don't like....I won't watch horror, I don't care for movies with gratuitous sex or violent scenes or nudity with no real story line. I do like some Steven King movies. But, I've not really seen a movie all the way through now for about 2 years. :) I love all kinds of food. I won't even go into music here, not enough space or time. I love love love all kinds of music minus the stuff you can't understand or decipher, grunge metal, or vulgar rap.
