I am pensive, reckless, and sincere.

My Self-Summary

In kindergarten I learned to read and masturbate, and while I've picked up a lot of other knowledge along the way, I'd say that words and sex in many forms (discussion, information, theory) are still the driving forces of my life- one of them I even get paid for.

I really enjoy the smell of fall, and people that take their shirts off at the bar. (This part of my profile is seasonal, and shortly that should be updated to: the way snow seems to silence the city a bit and hard nipples you can see through sweaters.)

What I’m doing with my life

This summer I returned to the U.S. after being abroad a bit and my schedule wasn't as full as I was used to, so I started running more. So then I decided, hey might as well do a marathon. So now I (should) run a lot. I also work, volunteer, and often choose my iPod and spacing out over reading on the train and then chide myself.

What I haven't been doing is enough grocery shopping or laundry. Every time I look at my available selection for these, I groan. Story:

A couple weeks ago I made a "cooked dish" with all the items in my fridge and the remainder of my shelved food. It was something like: chickpeas, brown rice, rotini, tomato paste, sauteed onions, and artichokes. My gf came home and looked at it horrified and asked what THAT tasted like. "Food."

I’m really good at

Making veggie food (above story aside) and losing my keys.

The first things people usually notice about me

Well there was a phase where people kept telling me I had a small face. In korea it's a compliment, but I still found it a little bizarre. My one co-worker would complain every time she had to be in a picture next to me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I am particular about books, and not as much about music. Some favorite of the first group are "Written on the Body," "Lolita," "Remains of the Day" and "The Corrections." In the second is a mix of many folk/indie groups like Santigold, Lucinda Williams, Chris Pureka, Tegan and Sara, and let's put a male in there... Josh Ritter.

The six things I could never do without

1. My mouth
(although technically if it were gone, I think that would make me decapitated, which makes this quite a literal answer...)
2. Close siblings
3. Airplanes
4. Confident women
5. Fingernails
6. My brown boots

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Whatever book or article I'm reading, people currently in my life, where I can travel in the future and how I can fund it. And often enough, nothing at all.

On a typical Friday night I am

Working (not preferable), getting laid (preferable), or wondering how the hell dexter will get himself out of this one (watching one of a couple tv shows).

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I think I covered that in the first sentence.

You should message me if

If you are a mistress of the track and can abuse me down to a sub-four hour marathon! Or you share some of my interests or want to and think we'll get along.

Please be open-minded, sex-positive, body-positive and have some of those good feminist qualities, no matter your sexual or gender identity. I am most strongly attracted to those who identify as queer, but as long as you aren't a gender stereotype stick in the mud, cheers.

Also, I am non-monogamous, and seeking the same.
