My self-summary
Originally from Jersey, but I've been in SF for 3+ years. I've traveled around the states a lot, but I'm sold on the Bay Area (I do miss living in New Orleans though). SF suits me well.

I've been to Punxatawny for Groundhog's Day, and tragically, it only lasted 24 hours.

I'm frequently scouring the likes of 7x7, SFWeekly, and SFist to find new restaurants, activities (looking for a tennis partner), or places in the city to explore.

A few coworkers and I recently started a band workshop with the goal of performing in a few months. I'm pretty amateur, but the sessions are a blast. We're definitely covering In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins, in honor of Phil Collins Friday.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been working for a kick ass graphic design startup for a few years.

I've been getting into cooking a bit. Current favorite recipe is Dijon Balsamic Lamb Chops with maple butternut squash.

Oh, and I play dodgeball - in a league, in my bedroom, at parties. You'd love it.
I’m really good at
Cards against Humanity, stooping it, not having pictures of my rippling abs as my profile picture, instagramming like I think I'm a professional photographer because I know how to add a filter.

I'm not very good at identifying how the 2000-2010 decade will be classified and stereotyped, in case you were wondering...
The first things people usually notice about me
I ain't no Chesire cat, but I got a smile that's worth noticing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite authors are kind of all over the place - Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ken Kesey, Daniel Quinn, John Kennedy Toole, Kafka, Vonnegut, Chbosky, Chabon, Palahniuk...and graphic novels hold a special place in my heart.

I'm a bit of a movie fiend, so if you can keep up and even turn me on to new gems I've never heard of, you're a keeper. My top five- Shawshank Redemption, City of God, Waking Life, The Big Lebowski, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Subject to change). That said, I could list many others!

When it comes to TV, I'm still bummed about the short life of Freaks and Geeks and Arrested Development and dig drama series like Mad Men, Dexter, Game of Thrones, etc. (Confession, I sorta love some garbage reality TV).

Music: Queen, Nina Simone, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Flaming Lips, Beatles, Michael Jackson, Dispatch, Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash, The Format, Gin Blossoms, Counting Crows, Bob Dylan, The Killers, Weezer, The Head and the Heart, Mumford and Sons, Maroon 5. I love everything, this is just a sample. My guilty pleasure is 90's pop.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How, if you start to think about the way you walk, you pretty much forget how to walk properly.

Existentialist philosophy.

80's and 90's childhood pop culture nostalgia.

Whether or not you're down with OPP.

Where I would immediately go and what I need to do in the event of a zombie apocalypse. It's serious the internet.

What was so fascinating about Bert's paperclip collection.

Where babies come from.

You're thinking about it? You want to laugh? You just injured yourself laughing and need some minor medical treatment?

Honestly though, someone who is looking for a relationship, but has time for a relationship. Also communication is pretty key with me. Nobody likes being bullshitted.
