I'm just a laid-back, relaxed kind of guy. I think life is way too short to get worked up about small things and try to laugh at everything and look on the better side of things. I'm really into movies, books, sports and music. I try to stay active and work out every day, but I guess I'm a bit of a foodie, always trying out new places to eat. I love Artichoke pizza on 14th st, Momofuku, and Mermaid Inn. I'm a travel junkie as well, last few trips have been Greece/Italy, Canada and Israel. I guess I'm a pretty well rounded guy and open minded about trying anything once...

I can usually do anything that I try to do and if I give a serious effort to learn how to do something, I pick it quick and learn easily. I used to teach tennis, so I guess I'm good at that. I make a mean taco and spicy feta dip. Not together. Even though that sounds kind of good right now. I'm pretty good at imitations and do silly voices like Adam Sandler or Jim Carrey.

They usually think I'm pretty funny, but I admit I'm shy at first. I'm a better listener than talker, but people usually tell me that I have very good, educated opinions on a lot of different topics. Oh, and I always smell good.

Books: Shadow of the Wind, Snow Falling on Cedars, Cold Mountain, LOTR,Kavalier and Clay, Shantaram, The Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, American Pastoral, The Corrections, and now trying to finish One Hundred Years of Solitude for like the 10th time
Movie: Crouching Tiger, There Will Be Blood, Dark Knight, Lebowski, A Very Long Engagement, anything Clint Eastwood, Jean Pierre Jeunet or Almodovar, Indiana jones (not the recent one, man that was garbage, frickin' Shia Ledouche swinging through trees with monkeys, WTF) and i have a soft spot for animated pixar movies like Wall-E or UP
Music: Ryan Adams, jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Wilco, Ray Lamontagne, M. Ward, Grizzly Bear, Fanfarlo, Fruit Bats, Neko Case, Beach House. I try and hit up a lot of shows, too. The last few i went to I went to were Ra Ra Riot, Bon Iver, The National, Vampire Wkd, Dr. Dog, Feist, Tallest Man on Earth, etc...Favorite album of this year by far is Father John Misty/Lord Huron/Alabama Shakes
Food: Pizza, Seared Tuna, Sushi, Wings, usually stuff thats not good for you and makes you fat and sassy!

Either out with friends or seeing a movie, trying out a new restaurant, baseball game.
I can tell you where I'm not: MEATPACKING DISTRICT (unless I'm working, then I'm in Chelsea Market).

Just that I've gotten to the point where things need to start having meaning. And I've never eaten egg salad.
