I've lived in Charlotte for 12 years now. I love it here. I work as a GIS Analyst for a local county government.
I enjoy getting together with friends (although most of them are married, some with kids now), listening to and talking about music, walks around my neighborhood (Elizabeth), checking out local eateries, bars and coffee shops in my neighborhood and beyond, going to the movies, the beach, the mountains... NC in general! I went to Appalachian State, so I'm a mountain girl but I do love the beach as well.
As far as music goes, my favorite is Ryan Adams. I prefer the singer/songwriter type over most, but if I had to classify my favorite genre I guess it would be indie? That's a pretty big genre though, sorry! I love seeing live music though, and would love to have someone to see it with. The last great show I saw was last weekend, The xx at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. It was the 2nd time seeing them there and the show was absolutely great. But the best show I've seen recently in general was Bon Iver in Raleigh in 2011. Absolutely stunning.
I've recently rejoined a gym and am working hard to get back in shape and feel better overall. I also devote introspective time to myself in an effort to improve spiritually. Never stop improving!
I love going to Panthers games. I've never been to a Knights game, but I'm sure it would be fun. I've enjoyed the baseball games I have been to. I love fall, it's my favorite season. I love everything that comes with it.
My general goal is to find a partner with whom I click, someone with whom I can have fun and laugh, someone with whom I can experience new adventures, build a home and possibly start a family. I would love to find someone I can be completely comfortable with, who I compliment and who compliments me as well. I'm searching for that person who will always have my back and visa versa. A true partner in life.

Right now, I'm just living & working, paying my bills, trying to have fun when possible. Spending time with my friends, checking out new music and live shows. I recently had to put my best friend down, my orange tabby Colby. I'm still recovering from that (it was 2 weeks ago) but I'm also ready to find a new faithful companion. My apartment feels empty without an animal there to love.
On the weekends, I sometimes spend time with my little sister, as in Big Brothers Big Sisters. My little is very sweet & funny. It's been fun getting outside of my comfort zone and helping a little girl out. Although she doesn't realize it but she helps me too.
But in the long run, I want to have a home that's full of warmth and love. I'd like to build that home with someone special.
The idea of "home" is so important to me, I had it tattooed on my left wrist last year.
I'm presently looking for a new place to live in Matthews to cut my work commute in half.

Just kidding, sort of. I think about animals often and how innocent and purely good they are. I think about all the garbage the human race produces and where it all actually ends up. I think about my future but try to stay grounded in the present.

Used to be out at bars, but I'm kind of over that whole scene. I might be over at a friend's house or just staying home, cooking dinner and catching up on dvr'd shows from that week.

I sometimes become a kleptomaniac if I'm out and had a little too much to drink... I'm likely to steal a nice pint glass. I'm running out of room for them though!
