I'm a generally relaxed kind of guy who laughs at just about everything, that's one thing about me that people either love or hate. I can laugh at any situation, to the point that I occasionally offend people. I spend a lot of my free time reading, both for school and for leisure.

As far as sports go tend to be a fan of New York and Tampa teams, but I'm really not into the big sports (football, baseball, basketball) much. They've recently shown themselves to be concerned with little else than money. I'm mostly a fan of Hockey and Soccer.

I'm trying not to curse as much as I used to. It's a work in progress. I am a christian, as noted in my details and while I'm definitely serious about it I'm not some crazy bible-thumper. I try to be an open minded person. I was fortunate enough to grow up around a lot of very diverse people, and I try very hard not to judge anyone without getting to know them.

I should say, I'm mostly on here looking for new friends, if I meet someone and something more develops that's great, but I don't believe in trying to force these kind of things.

I was at school in Atlanta for Computer Engineering. My main activity there was failing Chemistry, among other things.

Then I was working full time back in Tampa and trying to figure out what comes next.

Then I went to Community College for a few semesters and got an AA in general education to figure out what I liked doing.

I graduated from USF with a history degree last year (2010).

I am now in my first year of grad school for Medieval Studies at Fordham in the Bronx.

I'm also wasting lots of time on computers whether with video games or just random internet stupidity.

Soccer although I haven't played in a few years, and I'm also a pretty good trumpet player. I'm also good at taking apart computers and rebuilding them. Arguing, just for the hell of it, nothing personal about it though. Skiing.

Metal vocals

Speaking French, back before I got rusty and forgot my vocabulary I was once or twice mistaken for a native speaker. Starting to be pretty good at speaking German as well.

Schadenfreude. Not that I find other peoples' pain exciting or anything, but that (once again) I sometimes laugh in situations where it may not be socially appropriate. It's not as if I can only laugh at the misfortune of others though, plenty of the stuff that happens to me is pretty funny as well.

I'm also good at giving very honest answers to people once I've gotten to know them, so be careful not to ask me questions you may not want to hear the answers to.

Most likely my beard, it's starting to get pretty respectable again.

That I don't smile much, so people sometimes think I am unhappy about something. If you end up meeting don't think I'm bored or upset just because I'm not smiling all the time, that's just how my face looks when I'm not thinking about it.

My silence. I don't talk much until I have something to say, and I'm generally pretty quiet until I've gotten to know people and I feel more comfortable around them. After that point, however, I sometimes don't know when to shut up.

(a) Anything by: Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, Christopher Moore anything worth reading really.

(b) Star Wars, Anything by Monty Python, Fight Club, Alien, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas I like horror movies, especially ones I haven't seen before. I love that edge of your seat feeling of being terrified.

(c) Kalmah, Kamelot, Soilwork, Children of Bodom, Korpiklaani, Ensiferum, Scar Symmetry, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Iron Maiden, Angra, Dark Moor Andromeda, Devin Townsend, Opeth and Enslaved. That doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. I could make a list that would take you an hour to read through and several weeks to get to know all the bands. I'm mostly a metalhead, though I like a pretty wide variety, and I can stand listening to just about everything but recent country and bad hip-hop. To be honest, I've found that musical taste is a really unimportant thing to have in common.

(d) pizza and coffee, also peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Beer.

(e) TV shows: I've mostly lost interest in TV, it is stupid.

Going to movies when friends are in town also ranks high, or just raising hell in general. It's not so much what you're doing as it is who you're doing it with.

Maybe a midnight run to IHOP or another such place.
