My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been told that the length of my profile is intimidating. oops! I should probably reorganize.

I'm very much into geeky things. I grew up in the SCA(thanks, Dad!) I've attended Dragon*Con 13 and met many good friends there.

I spend most of my time crafting. Crochet, beading, spinning yarn, sewing, painting...

I adore my bike, visiting thrift/antique shops is my favorite thing. I really enjoy doing things that involve being out of doors: hiking, walking, sitting, gardening..

I speak quietly and laugh loudly. I'm very animated, like a cartooon.. I'm a verrry craft person! You can take that how ever you'd like but how I mean it is.. I do a lot of art and craft stuff. I make a lot of terrible jokes, crude jokes, puns, and leaps of humor that you might as well get a bridge for. I'm often embarrassed by jokes I've just made even while I'm laughing at how funny it was. ha ha ha!!

The first thing that I do when I check out someone else's profile is scroll down to the "you should message me if" bit. Then I check out their height! I like short people. I really enjoy reading what other people have to say about themselves.

I reset my questions on 12-12-07 then again on 08/12/2012 and update my profile sporadically and often with only a line or two. (this is one such sentence!)

I think it's fun when I'm browsing and see someone that I recognize. I am super awesome at finding four leaf clovers!

I am not optimistic, often half-hearted, and off my rocker

It seems that a lot of people like to put things in here about their opinions on gender roles and sexual label.. I think that gender stuff should be thrown up into their air and let fall where it may. I'm pretty sure that 'bisexual' could easily be replaced with 'indiscriminant'
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to enjoy it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making myself laugh and various crafty things. I am a crochet whiz!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My answer: Probably my wonky hair. If they're very tall, they probably don't notice me at all.

..You'd have to ask someone who just saw me. I could probably do that myself, huh? OKAY!

Geddy: you are abundantly outspoken

harena: er... you were teeny-tiny >.>
harena: you look bigger in your pictures! ;D

skate: you're short
skate: and have interesting hair

Scatter: yer hair...

pgn: Your eyes/Smile. too close to name one.

fessah: that you're tiny

Bri: differant colored hair

jose: whitey

heatherbat: your butt.
heatherbat: cause you were on ngp. :P

em: colors! short!

Noir: ur teeny

Ball: I remember you brought a big scary friend

Whales: I can't remember

ring: if memory serves me, 'girl drinking my booze'

Black: Hmm. Your mouth, I think.

sade: your funky hair?

Ban: i can't remember exactly.. i bet it was something about your size. it was kind of striking (in a good way).

inpant: i noticed your body language was really closed
inpant: but other than that short i guess

NIC: Prob your smile
NIC: since you were pretty happy the first time I met you

shig23: 1. Hey look, fish balloons! 2. Hey, she's Delirium! 3. Hey... Holy crap, she's CUTE. (And not like basket-of-puppies cute, either.)

agrll: i dont really remember but my guess would be your height as I am not very tall and here was someone shorter than me

memory: Probably your height?
memory: I don't really know, that was a long time ago.
memory: Now when I see you it's generally hair then clothes.

Sock: you really want to know this don't you
Sock: you opened the door
Sock: and my eyes went from my eye level
Sock: down to yours
Sock: and then kept going down
Sock: so does that satisfy your question? the first real thing i noticed about you is your giggle makes me randy.

zk: met or first saw each other?
zk: first thing I remember about you was a flowing black dress that looked awesome. so cool and unique clothing
zk: first thing I noticed meeting you was that you were talking to me. Which I though was awesome because I had seen you around a lot and wanted to talk to you but was too shy.

Wooz: Well, the web thing first came to mind: When I first saw your LJ photo, my brain went "like, whoa, that's so amazingly poignant and beautiful, is that really *her*?" (Note that I didn't at all know what you looked like before this, so the "is it really" wasn't "it looks so different from how she really looks" but more "is that picture the same person who's writing these entries", if that makes any sense.)
Wooz: And now I'm trying to think what I first thought when we actually met in person.
Wooz: I was on auto-pilot much of the time, so I don't know if I'll be able to recall.
Wooz: (nb. "poignant" isn't *quite* the right word, but it's the right level of subtlety and not *too* far away, I think...)
Wooz: O rite, the airport...
Wooz: To be honest, I think it wasn't anything more exciting than "Yep, that's her!" and probably "And she's cute in real life, too!" but I can't actually remember if I thought that right away or after you got to the bottom of the stairs.

thisdecember: definitely the FSM hat.

kingibexx: You were the only person who was helping clean up someone else's party.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

(a)books: is a great place. I love reading! yay libraries! I'll try anything in the fantasy genre. Terry Pratchett, David Mack, Simon R. Green, David Wong, Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore, A. Lee Martinez, Terry Brooks, Rob Thurman, onandonandon!!

(b) movies/shows: I watch lots of film. Lots and lots.. Fantasy/scifi are my favorite genres in everything. Firefly, Buffy:TVS, most things Joss Whedon takes part in, Being Human, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Farscape, the Stargate franchise, Star Trek franchise, Castle, Community, 30 Rock, Gilmore Girls, Covert Affairs, Fringe, Always Sunny in Philly, Modern Family, moremoremoremoremore... Oldies but goodies: I Dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, Sliders and Quantum Leap! hehe..

I spend an unfortunate amount of time watching sub par tv/movies because I like having something on while I bead/crochet.

(c)music: yay music!... stupid profiles.... Pandora rules. I have a rather varied taste in music but I avoid rap and country. I admit to pressing the 'shuffle' button quite a bit. I sent my mother to see Jethro Tull and was sad that I didn't get myself a ticket. I wrecked my body at several Mindless Self Indulgence shows, I cried at VNV Nation, I've got my ass kicked in ska pits, tear up at opera, wish I could sing soul like the beautiful women that do it best, and.. and. I don't care much to list many bands that I like because giving you a list of bands you don't know anything about won't give you a clue while giving you a list of bands you do know that doesn't give a good enough idea of the range of my tastes. I've never been very good at the music question. People often use it as a small talk opening. Hopefully I've uhm.. well, whatever.. I love music.

(d)food: is great! Sushi is fantastic, macaroni and cheese, pasta in general... Bread is great.. what do you want? Food is good. Turkey! I generally avoid dead cows.

I always get the same things at..
Indian restaurants: chicken korma, cheese naan, mango lassi..
IHOP is: Split Decision with dippy(sunny side up) eggs, seasoned red potatoes instead of meat and a side of un-toasted white bread. <--haha! I wrote that years ago and it's still true. <3
I've been enjoying trying new things lately.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
THIS question annoys me because the only things I could never do without are food, air, water... If it said "six things I would REALLY RATHER NOT EVER EVER be without" then it'd annoy me less and read more like: companionship, computer/internet, books, music, camera, pillows...

I'd be real very sad if I had no yarn/crochet hooks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The kids in my life.

Is there anyone reading this who's thoughts don't bounce around like a super bounce ball? THAT is what I would like to hear about.

Hobbies! Always with the hobbies..
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
uhm.. Sitting around not doing much of anything.. and regretting it.

I used to have a great Friday night log here but it was out dated enough that I had to throw it away. Research shows that the new accurate answer to this is "hanging out online"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Okay. I am revising this bit of my profile after much "deliberation"... I've had trouble with this bit of my profile since I started this account because.. I'm really not sure what I consider private! I pretty much just go around opening my mouth about any old damn thing.. For some reason I'm really annoyed by this whole "private thing".. thing..
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want a crafting buddy or you'd like to learn to crochet. Yeah, I said it!

..You feel like it!

Why isn't there a "you should NOT message me if" section?

You should NOT message me if: you are a male who plans on trying to have sex with me! ; D
