Ok, here it goes. There are of course a lot of things one can say about oneself. Unfortunately, humongous events for me, rarely are as important or interesting for others,so ... forgive me if I'm boring (grin).

I'm born in Elsene, Brussels, Belgium, somewhere in Europe - and a lot of movies, lately. I'm the eldest of two, got 1 little sister Evil Lyn (and only I can call her that). But, I should divert from faits divers and talk about my person.

I like life. No, really, most of the time I'm an up-beat person enjoying all the things that come my way. I might complain from time to time, but I do see the humour in it all (God has an excellent sense of humour ;-) )

Without bragging I dare to state that I'm not stupid. It's not like I claim to be a genius, but I'm not a moron. This has lead me to a lot of places - the library, for instance - where I tried to get a take on life ... *grin* This turns out to be a lot harder then expected.

Currently, I teach. Or rather I'm employed as a trainer to show employees of other companies how to operate on certain computer systems. This gives me the possibility to travel a bit around Western Europe.

If you look at my life, you might conclude that I'm a very sociable person. That would be correct. However, all the time I'm now spending on my social life - organizations, pubs, dancing ... - I'd like to share with a soul-mate, a real life partner ... an equal partner.

Mmm, let me get back on that - this is a work in progress after all ;-)

By the way: I am weird, sarcastic/cynical, and romantic.

As I said before, currently I'm teaching IT stuff to employees of other companies. Mostly I stay put in Belgium, doing this, but from time to time I'm sent to other Western European countries. Usually just for a couple of days.

It's clear that I - gratefully - use these opportunities to visit the cities I'm in at that time. I do admit, that I'd prefer to do the visiting with a special someone by my side :-)

Otherwise I read, I go out, I visit friends, I travel a bit, I throw dinner parties, I go to the movies ... I generally do things.
Lately I've become very interested in politics, but I don't think I'll act on it.

This is a hard one. How can you state to be great at something without sounding as a complete braggart.

Mmm, I'm good at listening and emphatically interpreting things being said. I'm a fair cook. I can sing - somewhat - and I can tell a story. I'm good company - most of the time *grin*

You know what? Get in touch with me and ask my friends. Or even better, get to know me and decide for yourself :-)

I would not know. I've never met myself. They say I'm charismatic, so that would be something you'd notice fairly soon. Or perhaps my eyes.
In any case, this question will answer itself, the moment you meet me, won't it? ;-)

As you can see, I like a lot. The reason is simple: I hate to judge something that I haven't heard, seen or tasted ... and I'm able to situate most things within their own environment. We shouldn't compare apples with pears now, should we? Even if it is great fun ;-)

A good book. It's very hard for me to imagine life without having anything at hand to read. There's something very soothing and calming about reading, at least ... I find this so.

Friends and Family: I've chosen my friends - kinda proud of them - and I love my family. Simple as that. And it's still true when I haven't seen them in a long time.

Light: candle light, moonlight, sunlight, skylight, windows, .... perhaps I should have said 'space' ;-)

Humour ... even if it might differ from person to person

Love, both the emotional kind as the physical kind. Of course, for me they go both hand in hand, even when I'm in an adventurous physical mood :-)

A good conversation, preferably with a cup of coffee or a fine drink :-)

several things: social issues, my own love-life, the future of Belgium, moral issues, my friends' and family's well-being ... and I'm more than willing to have a dialogue about it all.

mostly visiting friends. What we actually do, depends on the friends: sometimes we're out dancing, or talking in a pub, or BBQ-ing in their garden, going to the theater ... The most important thing about it is that we're doing stuff together and staying in touch. And yes, this too is something I'd like to share.

I've got a problem with this question because I'm not sure what I would consider private and what not. So, just ask me. If I don't want to answer it - right away - I'll say so :-)
