Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been to 23 foreign countries and yet never been to NYC.
I've whipped up thanksgiving dinner in a West African village,
using only a toaster oven... AND can expertly order room service...
and speaking of food, I will probably be willing to split a bacon
wrapped hot dog at the end of a night out, just FYI.
I'm equally down with underground hip hop AND jazz at Birdland
I yearn to wear eyeglasses for stylistic reasons, but sadly have
Potential deal breakers about me:
I usually have some cat hair on my pants, I am not an expert bike
rider and I tend to leave a trail of bobby pins.
Other things about me:
I've loved music festivals before music festivals were competing
with other music festivals. And don't worry, at said festivals
you'll see me wearing a vintage Adidas jacket rather than a
culturally appropriated head dress.
I taught myself to sew pants at 9 years old. Now I'm designing
I recently saw a meme that said: "Why pay $16 for an item when you
can pay $96 in craft supplies and make it yourself?" This very much
resonated with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I fill my life with work, play, exercise, self-love (yoga, massage,
submerging myself in warm pools of water....ahhhh), making art and
just simple relaxation. I am an educator, networker, artist and
community organizer. Most of my jobs and projects have focused on
improving communities through art and environmental education.
Currently, my 10-6 consists of finding ways to support refugees as
they transition into life in the US.
I love California, however, living and working in other cultures
also satisfies my soul, so I do a lot of traveling....sometimes
just short trips, other times I'll take root for awhile. I hope to
find a partner that wants the same balance- between life in the US
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Elaborate projects. Creative ideas. Finding awesome opportunities
to live and travel abroad.
