The first thing I should mention is that my interests are fairly widespread. I'm one of those "Jack of all Trades" people, which is a simple way of saying "I'd like to be a total genius at everything like Da Vinci." I like to read, write, and draw. Comics have always been something I enjoy. I have a slew of web-comics that I read all the time. I'm a voracious reader of graphic novels. I even wrote one once! That's a story in itself.
Literature and art is pretty much the shit. Obviously, this is the only phrase that can capture the true sense of what I mean. I collect books and tea the way other people collect wine. Combing through old bookstores is a favorite of mine; I've been looking for one particular book for about six years now.
If you couldn't tell already, I like stories. I like hearing them and telling them, as long as they're good ones. Clever wordplay is fantastic. Puns, good or bad, have their place on the shelf of conversation, right next to the can of dirty jokes and the preserved brain of Shakespeare. I'm also a human roll-a-dex of random facts that I pick up from isolated corners of the Internet. Did you know octopi have a dominant tentacle that same way we have a dominant hand? I KNOW, RIGHT?
I like to play video games. But I also like being outside. Where else am I going to get Vitamin D and probably sunburn? Ultimate Frisbee and Frisbee Golf are my sports of choice, but any kind of outdoor game can be fun. Just taking a walk is enjoyable for me. I like to explore places I've never been, just for kicks. Abandoned places are especially interesting.
Do you play cards? I love cards. Do you play board games? Aw man, sweet, me too. I guess I just like games in general. Anything that keeps me thinking strategically or, uh, I guess, just thinking.
Conversation is pretty integral, don't you think? I mean to like any kind of interaction. Yeah, you know what I mean. I like to joke a lot and be sarcastic when I talk. I'll tease, too, but I only do that to my friends, so don't take that too seriously. I'm not oblivious; I know when to be serious and when to be casual. I also recognize the importance of compromise. Close-mindedness is kind of infuriating. There should be a simpler way to solve things rather than stubbornness and arguing, right? Of course, when I say simpler way, I mean a top-hatted, handle-bar-moustached, flintlock wielding duel.
On bear mounts.
I am creative, open-minded, and imaginative.
