I just moved to this wonderful land of seattle and discovered that one of the joys of moving to a new town is, you all of the sudden have no friends. I was living in Boston for the past five years working in theater. I got burned out, decided I didn't like the town or the snow, and here I am. I am originally from Detroit and am very proud of this fact. As are most people who are from Detroit.

Right now? Kind of coasting. I'm working a job that I'm really good at, but is not my passion. I worked in theater for so long its kind of nice to have a job that I don't really invest myself in. But I'm still damn good at it. Really, I just need a job to fund my habit of art.

I moved into a new place that has so much space I basically have an art studio. I'm in heaven for that reason.

I recently picked up cooking. Before I was the queen of frozen food and as soon as I turned 30 I started cooking. I always wondered when I would start eating like a grown up. I guess I have my answer.

I've been told I make the best chocolate chip cookies and buckeyes. If you don't know what a buckeye is, you don't know what you are missing.

I love my dog more than most people I know. But that is probably cause the old fart has been with me for 12 years now. He's my longest relationship. :)

My favorite part of the last few months is that for once in my life people were talking more about politics and things that really affect us than about american idol. We'll see how long that lasts.

Sarcasm, having opinions, telling others said opinions, and making stuff out of other stuff, in ways you would never suspect.

a. Chuck Palanhiuk, Douglas Copeland, anything weird and creepy. I read a lot of books, so I will read a wide variety of stuff. b. Netflix slut, I'll watch almost anything, but i prefer movies that make you feel or make you think, or both. c. Ska, punk, hip hop, funk, and many others things, but not country. d. Ice cream and white trash food. I'm a vegetarian, even though i still tend to be a white trash vegetarian.

I was surprised when making this profile how very little pictures i have of myself. And I wasn't really into the "hipster olympics" enough to try to take my own myspace version. So just trust me when I say, I am much more interesting than my pics allow.
