I'm originally from a small city in Minnesota where I got my first degree at one of the universities in the town; specialized in an Art degree that I'm not using very well. I escaped to the wondrous end of the Oregon Trail without any dysentery in the hopes of that illustrious American dream of "anything is better than blizzards and bleak plains." Honestly, I really appreciate PSU's art program because its much more intense than my previous school, I feel much more intellectually challenged.

I also have to avoid Everyday Music and Powells because I end up spending too much money (especially the wretchedly cheap movies at Everyday Music).

More art education than I'll ever need, but its damn interesting nonetheless. I study film and printmaking primarily, and its loads of fun.

Pop culture trivia, I've busted people out of their bar trivia troubles by being a complete nuisance about it. Its quite fun to harass people with 4 Non Blondes.

My current infatuation is Phantom of the Paradise by Brian de Palma, crazy fucking movie with a great soundtrack. Its Faust the musical within Faust!

Movies, my cat, art, coffee/caffeine, sweets (cookies and whatnot), music.

Reworking art projects, plotting out ideas for current projects, analyzing films while in the shower. I'm in my head for most of a day to some degree.
