My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey there, I'm Ashlynn and I'm tentatively including the "looking for a long term relationship" tab because it's really not in the five-year plan but I'm open to it. But you'll have to be really special ;)

So... about me. I'm a self-identified feminist which is apparently a deal breaker for some people so let me just get that out of the way right away. I'm also bisexual, mixed race and bipolar. I like to say it's a shame I'm not genderfluid as well because then I could probably disappear at will... get it? Because I don't have a category and... anyway.

Other important pieces of information are that I plan on becoming a mother as soon as it's a finical possibility whether or not I have a partner. I want to be a mom more than a wife and that's one dream that will hopefully become a reality in the next 5-6 years.

If you're still reading, here's some less intimidating information about me: I really love writing. I'm working on what I'm tentatively calling a novel right now though it'll probably never be published. I'm also a huge Harry Potter nerd. Not to brag, but I've never lost a game of Harry Potter scene it... mainly because no one's played that game since 2009. I'm a student of Sociology at MSU and I plan on getting my Master's in social work once I'm done with that. The ultimate goal is to become a social worker specializing in queer youth.

I really like helping people, in case you couldn't tell. I volunteer with ACS L.I.F.T. when I'm not in school and I'm always looking for causes to be a part of. So if you love criticizing our current social systems or you just wanna talk about Harry Potter or anime, feel free to drop me a line.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently in college, studying social science.I'm also attempting to save up for the child I'll someday have.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sociological analysis
Pissing of social conservatives
Being the friend you want/need at the time
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My area of study would say my race and my gender but I'm guessing that's not what you're asking. I've taken to wearing a pink wig recently and that's started a lot of conversations. Also the fact that continually try and fail to be funny. I'm having fun. That's what matters.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry potter is my absolute favorite. Also, anything by John Green and the Shadow Children.

Movies: a Little princess. This movie makes me cry every time I see it. Pretty much anything animated that's aimed at families (this is different than being aimed at children), mindless comedies... I just love story-telling. If it has a story I can get behind, I like it.

Shows: I've recently dived back into Avatar: The Last Airbender and I love Legend of Korra. And my mother used to tell me I'd stop watching Nick when I grew up. Also, Fullmetal Alchemist (the original and Brotherhood), Hetalia (haters gonna hate), Hell Girl... and as for Western Shows, Orange is the New Black, Charmed because childhood, Once Upon a Time, Modern Family... I watch way too much TV.

Foods: The kind that makes you fat. It's a serious problem.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends
My computer
My ipod
My journal
My phone
My imagination
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The baby I want to have. Also, stories I'm working on, the patriarchy, the continued institutional oppression of minority groups, Queer issues, mermaids... mermaids are really fucking cool, aren't they?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home on my computer, studying my brains out. Or watching TV with a couple friends, possibly playing a drinking game to a Disney movie. College.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm bipolar. And no, that does not equate to being good in bed, stop asking.

You think you can participate in an engaging conversation? I feel like that's a decent standard to hold people to. You don't have to be looking for a relationship, either. I'm done with making some new friends, in fact it's really what I'm aiming for.
