I am cuddly, sociable, and bubbly.

My Self-Summary

I never like filling out these boxes if I do a thorough and honest job of self description I end up running on and on (not to mention fail in my task.) If I am short and to the point instead (as a summary should be by definition I suppose) I feel like I'm writing a resume and the superficiality of my statements irk me. However, I will endevor to keep this brief so as to try and save you all from my tendency toward loquacity.

I am an over caffinated, highly socialble girl who hates to go out alone. I have been in the Rogue Valley for a few years now and have only just started to make it out of my house on a regular basis. I have a growing need to go out dancing and wish I knew anybody with even a slight skill at ballroom dancing. Some good live music with a dance beat really gets me going too, though no country please.

I am highly emotional, very ADD and rather geeky with a habit of remembering most facts I read or hear. Given both my personal tendencies and current career choice these facts are not of the pop culture variety.

I am bi-sexual, slightly kinky, some what strange, flirtacious, often lewd and rather physically willing. I'll hug most anyone who is willing to hug me and have little sense personal space (I try not to encroach on others peronal bubbles though.)

I am also happily involved with Synthe and have been for over 5 years now. This is unlikely to change especially since we are having a baby come January. I am mostly looking for friends. If anything furthur of the casual and friendly variety developes I'm not opposed to the idea (the odds are higher is you are bi-sexual btw.) but realize you have two of us to deal with.
Those who seek whirlwind romance or deep, passionate, lasting sublime love I am not the woman you seek.

What I’m doing with my life

That is a strange question. I decided what I'm going to be doing for the forseeable future and that is working at a local tourist attraction. I'm a tour guide and it is an ideal job for me. It combines science, theater, hosting, teaching and the mystic/spiritual with my ability to talk incessantly. I finally get paid to do what I do best. Not to mention lets you meet people from everywhere and all walks of life. Some people do a lot of world travel, in my case the world travels to see me. Sometimes it leaves me quivering from over exposure to the masses. Say the same 10 lines to over 400 people and something in a girls brain just snaps... or melts.
Since work is so overwhelming I am trying to find time for myself to do the things I love and to take care of myself

I’m really good at

Conversing and entertaining, listening when needed, giving hugs and mothering, massage, dancing, following the logic of a nonsensical thought through to the illogical conclusion.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm going to start taking a survey of people from my tours amd see what the answer to this is. I imagine that for the vast mojority of people I meet it is the glasses, smile and voice. Recently my hair has joined the list, only when it is down though...
I have had a small girl (about 4) tell me that I am "pretty just like her mommy's friend." If I ever meet you maybe you will answer this question for me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Asking a girl like me to name favorite books is horribly unfair. What I will list here is what comes to mind first. Robert Heinlein: Friday, Stranger in a Strange Land, JOB a comedy of justice; Neil Gaiman: American Gods, Sandman Graphic Novels, Good Omens (w/ Terry Pratchett); Neil Stephenson: Cryptonomicon, Snow Crash; William Gibson: Neuromancer; David Brin: Earth, Glory Season; Stephen King: Dark Tower Series... Also it should go without saying that I love the Harry Potter books and if you haven't read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings you should. Recently I have been reading the Anita Blake novels and other such oversexed fantasy series staring gutsy strong willed heroines.

Movies (I include TV with this since I watch it by the season): Lord of the Rings trilogy (Geeks again prove their worth!), Blade Runner, Interview with a Vampire, Barbarella, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Dangerous Beauty, Boondock Saints, Don Juan de Marco, 10th Kingdom, Star Trek, Cowboy Bebop, Chobits, Naruto, Ghost in the Shell, Noir, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Full Metal Alchemist... I can't think of any more right now, ah well.
For music, NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Tori, Eve 6, Barenaked Ladies, Lords of Acid, Paul Simon, Danny Elfman, Shakira, Louis Armstrong to name a few. Now though I have satellite radio and allow the music to happen to me. I have a tendency to channel surf until I hear something I like (techno, rock, a musical...) and stay at that spot for some indeterminate amount of time before my brain insists on different input.

This last one is easy. I like food, prefer quality ingredients and have yet to find a type I didn't like. (coleslaw is an exception) Though I will suffer from foodgasms if I get to eat a good dark chocolate truffle or a high quality cheese.

The six things I could never do without

Well, ignoring the things I would die without:
Love, sex, cheese, wine, books, companionship. Anime, internet, dancing and video games while not required in my life do make me easier to live with.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Message me and we'll chat some time. If you ask I'll tell you. (AIM, yahoo or MSN I don't like using the one built into OkCupid)

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing video games, reading, discussing programming, watching videos, making dinner, enjoying my Cal King bed, wishing I had something else to do

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

My SN is from when I was little, I wanted to be named Starlight Rainbow Mudpuddle Bone Balloon.

You should message me if

You live in the area and want a new friend. If you are a geek, want to talk or just feel like it. Also message me if you have any book, movie or anime recomendations, I'm always looking for new stuff.

Be warned I am a slacker and SUCK at checking my messages. Your odds are better I'll write back during the winter and I basically shut down all comminication with the world during the summer months (talk to over 100 people in a day 5 days out of the week and you would to.) So if I never ever respond, don't feel to bad. Also just sending me a woo is unlikely to illicit a reply.
