Writing software for a living, I’ve worked on code that helps fly airplanes, runs solar power plants, and predicts if a check will clear or bounce. I like understanding complex things, love my work, and believe software can make a positive difference in the world.

My free time is spent playing guitar in a rock band, playing with my dogs and traveling. A creative, successful and happy man, I like making plans and seeing them come together. It may seem exceptional or unusual, but my life is completely different from most people. I embrace the things I enjoy and still am open to new things. Not one afraid of risk, I rarely worry about failure.

So what does it for me? A woman who is stable, happy and has her life together is very attractive to me. Quirky and eccentric are not adjectives that scare me, and I’m often drawn to those involved in creativity: artists, writers and musicians.

Professionally I'm an independent software contractor. I have my own business and I'm trying to grow my own little empire.

Personally I just want to do the things I enjoy as often as I can. :)

When I put my mind to something I'm usually good at it. I'm good at problem solving. I'm good at singing along to the radio. I'm good at writing music. I'm also a decent dancer, I just need a willing partner.

I'm a huge fan of music. Some of the bands I like: Wilco, Amanda Palmer, Sleigh Bells, Jack White, Flaming Lips, Green Day, The Decemberists, Matt and Kim, Cat Power, Ryan Adams, The Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Conor Oberst (and Bright Eyes) and The National.

I like watching Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, The Daily Show, and random movies on Netflix.
