My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have always been one to find the beauty in small things. I found it in the old ruins of abandoned buildings and their decrepit decay, and when I observed June bugs wrestling for potential mates. I was quick to stop and observe these tiny details and I'm grateful I have the consciousness and wisdom to understand motion and change. I enjoy the company of others and making them burst with laughter at every possible opportunity I get. I'm generally open to adventures of all sorts and I've been fortunate to visit other countries and experience different cultures and customs. I look forward to growing as an individual and have used criticism as a motivator to always "do better, be better" than the me of yesterday. I went to school in Vermont, a private college with a little over three-hundred students, where I majored in Classical Literature. I returned to Salem where I began working towards a career in Social Work. I'm back to school in the Winter and looking forward to continuing my education and making decent "progress" in life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as a Special Ed. Paraprofessional in a high school setting and on my free time concentrating on my art and creative passions.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...helping others, expressing myself, exploration, debates, trivia, climbing things, fixing (and cleaning) things, figuring out plot twists in a "complicated" movie well before my peers but not blurting it out, spotting wildlife, power-reading followed by power-napping, making art out of chaos: Pretty Math(s). That's enough narcissism, I suppose.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Freckles. I have lots of them. I am a "Ginger" but I'm proud of my kind, not self-hating or in denial. If not that then it's usually my blue eyes.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(1) Organs
(2) Nature
(3) Imagination
(4) Companionship & camaraderie
(5) Art
(6) Tea or caffeine substitute
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How small we are as a species in the larger scale of the universe. What humanity is capable of achieving if the right amount of effort is applied. Are we alone? What colors look like to other people. The seemingly cyclical nature of all life. Where would I have been on an ancient battlefield? What ever happened to the disk they recently found at the bottom of the ocean?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
reflecting on the week that's hurtled by with a beer in hand and good company around me or alternatively forgetting the week that's crawled by in a blanket fortress with some 80's tunes, flashlight, and graphic novel.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I killed a duck by kicking a rock into the water when I was seven and I have never fully recovered from the guilt. Also, I build giant random structures in the woods where I grew up just so people scratch their heads when they come upon them.
