My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Fun loving, charming artist who needs both city life and nature. I love my life and enjoy being single but I can be open to a LTR. I am new to all of this online dating stuff. Basically I'm a really sweet, loyal, creative and sometimes odd guy. Did I mention my dog? He is my heart walking around on four furry legs. I love to travel. I went to Nicaragua twice last year and spent 6 weeks traveling Europe. I go to The Venice Biennale in Italy every other June, and try to combine that with a trip to my ancestral country of Latvia. In the next couple of years want to bike across the USA. In addition to flocking all over the world I love New England. There's ncellsce better in my humble opinion and I love to explore all of it.
I am hyperactive but I can mellow out.
Boston has been home since 1999 but i will always be a New Yorker. There is something about being in NYC makes me feel whole and totally myself. NYC absorbs my hyperactivity, brings up the sentiments of being home and I simply love being with my people. That being said I have a life second to none here in Boston and it would take something huge to make me leave New England.
I can be exhausting.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For a living I work as a photographer. Through photography I have discovered the world of contemporary art and I pretty much put a lot of energy into following and making post-art. Now that I have alienated myself, I am grateful that I was born into privilege and understand that i need to give back. I am also part of a cooperative Art Gallery in East Boston and that community is a huge part of my life. Finally I am active in 12 step fellowship and I try to give back what was so freely given to me years ago.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really funny, strangely creative and make a great friend, I am active in a few different organizations and have learned that I have good organizational skills(a big surprise) and leadership abilities. I remember everything and I'm never wrong. I tan really easily and I have a black belt in bargain hunting. Babies, pets and Grandmothers love me.I love to file papers and organize drawers and closets.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I know typical answer here seems to be 'my eyes', this is true of me as well. Can I say my hazel eyes? Let us throw my dimples and the fact that I talk too much into the mix.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Much too vast a question to answer completely but a random sample would be

Movies - The Third Man, Before Sunrise, Sound of Music, The Last Picture Show, Suddenly Last Summer, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Street Car Named Desire,All That Heaven Allows, Repo Man,The Poseidon Adventure, Short Bus, Bring it On, The Color Purple, Brothers of the Head, Coal Miner's Daughter,Splendor in the Grass, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte, Central Station, Zoolander, Bagdad Cafe, Leaving Las Vegas, Hustle and Flow, Auntie Mame, Tsotsi, A night to Remember, Willy Wonka, Valley of The Dolls, Business of Strangers, Manhattan, After Hours...............I love movies

Books - I just finished Poisionwood Bible and loved it. Others that stand out while I type are Everything is Illuminated, On the Road, Walden, Gone with The Wind, Myra Breckenridge, The Late George Apley(I don't understand why every Bostonian has not read this), The Bostonians,All Jane Austin and Bronte, The Moviegoer, The NA Blue Book, Mysterious Skin, Pillars of the Earth....the list goes on and on.I am always reading something.

TV- Favorite show of all times is still Six Feet Under, Also I like The Sopranos, The Brady Bunch, Steinfeld, I watch Chelsea Handler every night, The Weather Channel, Rachel Meadows, 360, Real Time with Bill Maher, Daily Show,The Waltons, Gossip Girl, Dallas, Rupauls' Drag Race, Ab Fab, Project Runway, International House Hunters, The Soup, Fashion Police, Departures, Modern Family, Glee,
I'm a little ashamed to say I actually really like TV but I don't make it a priority. I DVR everything and watch when I have time or want a lazy day.

Music - Too much and too vast I like everything from Classic Rock, House, Musicals, 70s Disco, Classical, attachment to the 80s New Wave of my youth-WLIR was huge for teenage me. The list goes on and on and on. I have a huge love for Ancient Latvian Folk Music. Yes I know, everybody does as well.

Food. I'm a avid traveler but in the past i used to not be brave in trying new things. Recently I sent the 6 year okd me packing and actually enjoy trying new cuisine. He does still return when i hear the word Vegan or raw restaurants. I had a bad experience trying to be polite eatting a catus. i love South East Asian dishes and most European food(especially French). Latvian cooking will win my heart. I tend to start to love the food of a country I spend time in but it takes a day or two to get excited. After that I'm a fan for life. Some sort of childhood hang up. My Mom could not get me to try anything as a child but as I mature I am willing to try anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sunshine, small furry animals, my bike, travel, the outdoors and my friends and family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I should be doing, what I want to be doing, what I will be doing and what I just did. Also I think a lot about art and my art projects. I am always thinking of my loved ones and my animals.I also wonder why I said 'that'.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have no typical Friday night because I work some/a lot of weekends but I can be out to the movies or dinner with friends, at an art opening, at home on the couch with my pets, catching up on emails. I also like the gym on a Friday night because it is empty.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
OK - here it goes, I have recently been introduced to Bravo TV and Andy Cohen, by a straight man no less, and I watch way too much of it. I'm not sure what this about but I really enjoy it. I love to meet other Bravo watchers and gossip. I guess gossip is another revelation. I promise I'll do this on my own time.
