My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Erik. I prefer the cold side of the pillow.

Storytelling and visual arts are what my life is all about. I'm lucky enough to be able to make a living doing what I love. I worked really hard to get where I am, so I never take it for granted and I enjoy all of the spoils. I find that life gets better when you don't take things too seriously. That's pretty much my plan moving forward.

I collect cameras. I don't know how many I have. I buy a new one every couple weeks.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I play for a living, making films, commercials, music videos, shorts, etc. I absolutely love it. I get to pretty much do my own thing and I'm always presented with new creative challenges. I live for it. I've had all sorts of adventures doing this and I've travelled around the world. I fly around in helicopters, I've been in an avalanche, a hurricane, a flood, and on top of a burning oil drilling platform in the middle of the ocean. Good times.

I keep a "Summer Emergency Kit" in my car. It contains a swim suit, sunglasses, a fun hat, games, several little bottles of alcohol, a waterproof camera, and other miscellaneous summer fun goodies. I'm very proud of it. I should probably turn it into a Winter Emergency Kit when it isn't summer, but that doesn't sound nearly as fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Coming up with voices for pets. Snowboarding and photography. Cutting my own hair. I stopped a purse snatching once, so I think I might be good at crime fighting. But most of all, I'm a karaoke monster.

I'm a pretty thoughtful and considerate person. If I sprinkle when I tinkle, I'll always be a sweetie and wipe the seatie.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Don't really know. It's probably either my devilishly good looks or my false sense of pride.

Someone told me once that I have a really sexy voice. Not sure if it's true, but he was very adamant about it. He told me if he was 16 years younger that he'd be "all over me." He was a professional voice-over artist, so I hope he knows what he's talking about. It was one of the best compliments of my life really...

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A creative outlet
A camera
Korean BBQ
Red wine
Occasional exposure to snow
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sunglasses. Making stuff. Making up fake bands. Names for Corgis.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The first friday of every month is Fancy Friday. I wear a suit and encourage everyone around me to be fancy too. Then we drink Nortini's (it's a special drink that I co-created) all day. Very productive.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I keep a karaoke playlist on my iPhone so I can practice in my car. It mostly causes me to wreck my voice on the way to karaoke...

You're a rad independent gal.

OH, or if you have a great idea for what I should do with about 250 tennis balls. I bought them for a photo shoot like 3 years ago and they've just been sitting in my storage unit taking up too much space. I need a creative solution.
