My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Whilst idly browsing through the internet the other day I found a horoscope. I am not into that type of thing generally, but I have to admit that this summed me up very accurately. Here's a paste:

'Entirely creative person, most are artists and insane, respectfully speaking. Extremely random. Extremely funny and is usually the life of the party. Very high appeal. Amazing kisser. A Cancer’s love is one of a kind… Very romantic. Most caring person you will ever meet in your life. Most Cancers will take you under their wing and into their hearts where you will remain forever. Spontaneous. Not a fighter, but will kick your ass good if it comes down to it.'

To add some of my own words, I like swimming and generally keeping fit although I don't have the patience to run. I have zero interest in sports, especially football.

I avoid sports bars and pubs. They are full of uninteresting people with nothing to talk about except sport and they talk about sport a lot, like it means something. If I was into football I would be out in a field playing it, not watching a bunch of strangers playing it on a pub TV surrounded by fat people eating crisps.

I'm ready to settle if it feels right but not for the sake of being in a relationship. Better to be single, love yourself, respect others and enjoy the search than to settle for second best. The great thing about dating (if you have the right attitude to it) is that, in many cases, it can result in something good - be it a relationship, a fling or a friendship. Or in some cases, all three.

I've never been married as I don't agree with it. I agree with monogamy and finding a soulmate and having anniversaries and i'd be open to finding that, however if I just continue to have short relationships which often blossom into friendships then so be it.

I've been described as open minded, honest, unconventional, creative, brave, kind and adventurous. However, I've also been called opinionated, untidy and over analytical.

In a woman I like a bit of a challenge. I am attracted to those who are confident, witty, sexy, mentally stimulating and smart. I value the company of the well travelled and the creative. My ideal woman would be somebody creative, like a graphic designer or a chef.

I'm not too fussed about nationality, providing there is enough life experience to keep a conversation interesting. However, I generally prefer western women, though there is no rule book.

I'm no expert on wine but the more I try the fussier I get. I'm no snob though, unless it's food. I'll eat pretty much anything but it has to be properly made by somebody who knows what they are doing. I probably spend more money on food than anything else.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I live in the heart of Bangkok which is very convenient though living in a main tourist area can be stressful at times.

I have a nice new job working for a European company and I get to travel around a lot which is preferable to working as a freelance video editor and being ripped off a lot by other foreigners which is what I was doing previously. I also get occasionally work as a songwriter and vocal coach for a famous Thai singer, which is about as close as I have come to teenage aspirations of working in the music industry.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video editing, songwriting, talking, kissing and living.

I'm not bad at cooking, graphic design, composing music and making friends.

I'm no good at solving technical computer related problems without help, and I can't whistle, ski or click my fingers.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a big nose. Well I assume this is what people notice first but I could easily be wrong. Somebody special to me once said it gave me character, so I guess that's good. It's not really big, just prominent. It won't take your eye out.

Books: Anything by Ben Elton, Nick Hornby or Stephen King. I also like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins but have never actually finished any of their books. I loiter in Asia Books a lot.

Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Leon, Goodfellas, Groundhog Day, too many to list.

Shows: Breaking Bad, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Fargo.

Music: All of it.

Food: Indian, French, Italian and Japanese.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Real people
Creative tools
Tasty food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Idealism, the future, where to eat, the next project, what to eat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Possibly not fully aware that it's Friday as every day is pretty much the same when you are emancipated from the nine to five.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I own an accordion and have been known to play it after a few drinks, however, this is very rare.
