My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'd like to think of myself as a kind, peace-loving, liberal kind of person. I have creative tendencies. I like to draw, paint and make when the inspiration is there. I love nature and generally prefer animals to humans.

Things that interest me:
Permaculture
All animals- especially weird sea creatures, tiny bugs and bats.
Food- If you want to win me over, show me a new fruit or vegetable I haven't tried before. My excitement might seem a bit disproportionate though.
Scuba diving
Documentary/wildlife photography
Being in nature- From jungle trekking and caving to spending time in my garden. I need it or I may go crazy!!
Sustainability
Natural dyes and natural fabrics
People who can think relatively independently and are open to a somewhat unconventional life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a self employed dressmaker/pattern cutter but I have a love/hate relationship with fashion. It's a wasteful industry, there's no denying, so I'm working on becoming more sustainable/eco friendly. I also love scuba diving and if I had more of that in my life I would be very happy indeed. Other things I am doing include growing loads of vegetables and questioning everything, all the time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting people to tell me their secrets.
Eating lots and lots of fruit
Making curries.
Being flexible (physically!).
Forgetting people's names.
Finding bargains.
Walking for a very very long time.
Making things happen.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I look quite flustered and confused about something. Or that I am holding a very cute animal.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Freedom From the Known by Krishnamurti, Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, I'm currently reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

TV: I don't watch much of it but if I do anything naturey or sciencey is going to keep me interested. I like most types of documentaries. I also like a good British comedy.

Music: I can honestly say I can enjoy every genre of music if the time is right. At the moment I am listening to: Burial, Grimes, Animal Collective, Ariel Pink, Cardiacs, Squarepusher, Depeche Mode, White Stripes, Sonic Youth, Mike Oldfield, Kate Bush,The Smiths, The Knife. But I listen to everything from dubstep to prog rock. I go through phases of listening to the same 5 songs 15 times a day for 3 weeks. I copied that line from somewhere but I can't think where.

Food: Lots and lots of fruit. Fave so far is probably the 'custard apple'. It is truly divine. I am extremely healthy most of the time but I'll pretty much try anything as long as it isn't a dead animal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There are many more than 6 things I could not LIVE without. But do? I dunno, if I didn't have it then I would do without it, otherwise I'd throw a tantrum like a big baby which wouldn't get me anywhere.

Oh and If you answered 'iPhone'- do not contact me! We will have nothing in common.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can live peacefully.

Relationships between people, other animals and the planet, and how bizarre human nature is.

How to get maximum benefit from doing the least amount of work.

Food, sex, excitement and when will I next have them..
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drowning my sorrows whilst on OkCupid obviously.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have some ridiculous scars on my belly after frying my breakfast in a bikini... oh and I have a scar on my head from running into some scaffolding on the back of a lorry.
