My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can do eighteen chin-ups in one go. Now, I know what you are thinking: naturally you're wondering if I'm talking about the ones where your fingers are facing towards you--but no, these are the harder ones where you're fingers are pointing away. Okay, that said, I have much more to talk about because I do realize that the ability to do chin-ups probably constitutes no more than about a half of what most women are looking for in a partner.

Have you seen the movie Before Sunset? The last scene blows me away every time. I'm passionate about movies-- a great one will stick with me, and I'll find myself thinking about a certain moment or line even years later. I also get very into music. I've always loved the new wave stuff I got into since high school (Depeche Mode, The Cure), but recently have had a blast getting into new (to me) bands like Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation. Amy Lee belting out Evanescence's heart-wrenching "Lost in Paradise" is about as powerful a song as I've heard. Louis CK is my favorite comedian.

My personality is upbeat, and I love inside jokes and meeting new people. I can find interesting things to talk about with just about anyone and am an excellent listener. Funny contrast, though, in that my taste in films, comedy, and music runs a little to the dark.

I'd love to meet someone who has things she's passionate about and also knows how to relax and enjoy the moment. Someone with a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world, who enjoys being physically active, and has a playful side to her personality.
