My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
LANDED (2/9/2015) a state job. Making people smile or laugh or think. Helping out when and where I can. Trying to take it all in stride. Understanding and practicing what it means to be graceful.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
At a lot of things. Reading people. Explaining things. Listening. I'm patient with a lot of things. Maybe too patient/passive. Being a middle child, I'm a natural born negotiator/diplomat. It's not that I enjoy compromise, I enjoy including everyone that wants to be. No one should be left out if they don't wanna be. Except child molesters right? Fuck those people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My tastes are too varied to be listed and catalogued. If I feel it, I'll ride it out. From the fountain (the movie) to brotha lynch (the "artist"?). Please don't listen to brotha lynch. Although the one guy I knew who liked that noise just got married so I dunno maybe I'm the weirdo for not vibing with sacramento's premiere rapping cannibal. Maybe. Only maybe.

Writers block has kind of sapped my will to read but I enjoy(ed) Stephen King, the dark tower series, House of Leaves, I am Legend, Cormac McCarthy, the guy who wrote Justified and 3:10 to Yuma (can't remember his name but he just passed away a couple years ago :,(
) Elmore Leonard, I had to look it up. Stuff like that.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Love. Life. Compassion. Humor. Hope. Faith.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why all these women and mothers are suddenly into mainstream bdsm although my beef is with a book I've never read and intend never to read but I will say a true Dominant/submissive relationship doesn't revolve around the strong controlling the weak, it's a mutual trust and understanding that both partners have to buy into to make it work and the portrayal of a sub as a weak willed, never had sex before this experience object for me is not what that philosophy and lifestyle is all about. But people are going to see it in theaters and people are reading the book so I guess some exposure to that lifestyle is better than the black leather, whips and chains stereotypes we all had in mind. Long story short, I don't understand the popularity of the book and apparently it's not well written either so what's the appeal. Feel free to enlighten me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
That moment when you realize just how boring and monotonous your life has become. I need to add some je ne sais quoi into my life...

All in due time :) for now contented to keep to my hobbies and save money until a time which I can splurge and start going out again. Hopefully this depressing monologue is only a temporary reminder of how far I have to go yet. If my lackadaisical approach towards sharing my weekly plans puts you off, just glad we didn't get anyone's hopes up unnecessarily ;)

No I won't chop down and then build you a log cabin. I don't have a rich plush full beard. My library doesn't smell of Mahoganay, but I do enjoy scotch.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to. Seriously. Just shoot me a message. I try to respond to all of them. If I don't it's usually cause I type out a response and forget to hit send, plz don't take personally.

You think we have something in common.

You don't mind that I'm nerdy/dorky.

You're kind, polite, empathetic, and don't get all offended when I try to hold the door open for you. Even more, you actually acknowledge my existence and effort with a simple "Thank you!" Or even just eye contact and a nod. And I hold the door open for everyone. Dudes too. Especially dudes so that way all these girls don't think they're so special. Sorry ladies but it's time to take you down a peg. And people said chivalry was dead... :P
