My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like meeting people. I am from California originally, but moved to Wyoming for 25 years where I still own a home. I have been in Houston for about 3 years and will be here for at least another 1 1/2 years. I live alone here, but have three grown children, two in Wyoming and one in California.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on a project based in Houston, but frequent travel to Australia and other locations. Travel has been a big part of my life. I worked in Kazakhstan for over 7 years and have some wonderful friends there and will be going back to visit soon.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair. I get lots of comments. I know it won't be long and it will turn grayer than it already is. But I am okay with that. I don't mind getting older, with it comes some peace.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Any book by Lee Child, Patricia Cornwell or Dean Koontz. I haven't watched much television or seen many movies. I like Classic Rock and dislike country music, except for Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I have had to do without most things at some point in my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I find myself spending more and more time thinking about growing old alone. I don't like the thought.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Eating steak and lobster somewhere in Houston. My favorite meal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing is really private in my life. In reality, no one really cares what you do as long as you don't hurt anyone including yourself.
