My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Stuart.

I'm kind of a nerdy guy. I like Star Wars, Doctor Who, Firefly, etc. I try not to be overwhelmingly nerdy, but... It does come out on occasion.

My days off are spent biking, making earrings, playing video games, or watching movies with my friends. I can often be found napping on the rocks at Belle Isle or on VCU's compass on sunny afternoons, reading a book or just sitting back and watching the people go by. To call me laid-back would be somewhat accurate.

I'm not anti-social, but I'm more into small gatherings with a few friends and a few beers. I do go out to parties on occasion, but I don't really get drunk, and I tend to be among the earliest to leave.

I will NOT shave my beard, I look like I'm 16 without it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently, I'm in school studying to be a paramedic. I have a few hobbies that I do when I'm not studying.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing bikes
Making awkward situations amusing
Nerf gun fights
Shooting rubber bands
Really, really terrible puns
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My loud voice, laid-back nature, and my tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve.

Movies: 28 Days Later, Fight Club, Art School Confidential, The Blues Brothers, Star Wars, V for Vendetta.

Shows: Metalocalypse, Firefly, Doctor Who, House, Castle, Burn Notice, Criminal Minds, How It's Made.

Books: Shogun (and everything else by James Clavell), Ender's Game, Lord of the Flies, World War Z, 1984, Dune, the entire Sherlock Holmes collection, and everything by Chuck Palahniuk.

Food: Burritos, Sushi, and just about everything else. I'm not a picky eater, there are only a handful of things I don't like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Music (playing and listening)
-My bikes
-Creative outlets (currently woodcarving)
-Spending time outdoors
-Good friends who say stupid things to make me laugh when I'm feeling down
-Days nice enough to go out barefoot
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How everything is connected on a very basic level: it all exists. Regardless of where we came from, we're here, and that is really, really cool.

^ I promise I wasn't high when I wrote that, I'm just a massive sap.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends, drinking a beer or two. Occasionally I'm at a party.

Has anyone else noticed how these questions tend to make you repeat yourself?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm trying to think of something to put here, but everything is either way too private, or not private at all, so... It's rather difficult. Just ask, I suppose?

You're fun, kind of nerdy, and like hanging around, bike rides to nowhere in particular, and watching zombie movies.
