My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Brooklyn dwelling, wine drinking, live music loving, fan of a good time here. Originally from the south, but moved here about 7 years ago and fell hard core in love with New York. Always down for checking out all the great things this city has to offer, especially local stuff in Brooklyn.

My biggest passion is live music. I'm a big fan of music in general, but something about experiencing the sound and the lyrics and the vibes and the crowd in person makes it almost surreal for me. I guess that you could say I'm always chasing that live music high.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
So sometimes guys ask me why I'm on this site...which is completely bonkers to me bc clearly you're on it as well and so must know the answer to that question, but anyways to answer that question more specifically, I will share a story from a recent Friday night:

My friend Cara and I were at a local drinking establishment when she called me over to introduce me to a beardy, glasses wearing, flanneled male whom she thought I would be interested in because I'm from Brooklyn...naturally. I came over, she makes a scene of telling me that he thinks I'm really cute blah blah blah (in front of him mind you). Not even 20 minutes later Cara screams across the bar for god and all his creation to hear "Hey Laura, you'll never get with this guy!" And then proceeds to make out with him the rest of the night....

She's a good friend, I swear. But you see the point is, it's a jungle out there. It's a wonder anyone ever finds a mate at all. And it's certainly not gonna happen at 3am in some terrible bar. But that's where you'll find me on a typical Friday night...or at a concert...or on a rooftop drinking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

You don't take yourself too seriously and think that we have stuff in common...opposites may attract but they don't make for good partners in my experience.

Love a take charge guy who will plan a date. A smart guy who is still silly and adventurous and isn't afraid to challenge me is the sexiest thing I can imagine. I'm drawn to relationships with a playful side, looking for someone who can be himself, joke around, sing karaoke, shake your groove thang...all of that.
